finally able to eat again. went to the hospitol today. ct scan showed there is no inflamation, and im pretty much normal for someone with crohns. so my belly was extending and i couldnt eat because of stupid tylenol 3. hopefully now my doc will let me taper off the pred. thinking the remicade must be working. go for my 2nd infusion on the 9th. happy days are ahead!

Well, good luck with the continued success of the Remicade.
I'm not too sure what you mean about the T3 and not being able to eat but hopefully that has been resolved, as well.

It's the codeine, it constipates you! I find it's OK to take 1 or 2 doses, if I get really bad pain, but if I take it for longer I can't go to the toilet, which bloats me.

The codeine makes me vomit. I'm still looking for a good alternative pain med.

well not sure about anyone else but i think i have developed a weird reaction to the tylenol. on the tylenol 3 my belly would extend to a painful degree and i could not eat, every time i did i would experience extreme bloating, and the gas i had was horrendous. the hospitol told me there was no inflamation so no reason for the extreme bloating. so they put me back on percocet with tylenol, i was fine for most of the day, though ive had extreme diarreah, and guess what i now have the damn bloating again. so im putting it down to the tylenol. unless something else is going on that the ct scans just arent picking up. calling the gi doc tomarrow.
