I posted this in the wrong section last night..

I've been "sick" for 2 years now. I was Diagnosed withCrohn's about 9 months ago(june 2010).
I've been on Humira(every 2 weeks) from the end of July.

The only thing that happens now, is my stomach is REALLY loud. And it usually makes sounds when it's quiet and people around and I'm thinking about it. But there are some days when I don't notice it. I can feel when these sounds are about to happen too.

It doesn't hurt anymore, but it is usually uncomfortable.

Sometimes it will even happen every 2-5 minutes..

I'm just wondering is this normal??

Any advice helps,
Thanks

Hey zac, yeah that happens to me alot.. But I call it gurgling hehe.. I think it's something you get use to after a while and you won't notice it sometimes.. I don't no how normal it is but I have seen others on here talking about it.. When I flare I get the gurgling with pain, but other than that no pain with mines, other than the loud noise it makes. I tries asking my doctor why it happens but he hasn't really told me why

Happens to most of us. For me, it was worst when my food was moving past the part of my intestine with the worst narrowing. Could be that you have some narrowing also and your food is making noise as it's being pushed past that part.

Make sure you are chewing really well and not eating too fast, or putting too much food thru your system at one time and it might help.

I've had the same thing (gurguling on my left side where the narrowing is) lately since my recent bout of flareups. We were shopping today after breakfast and my wife could hear it five feet away in the store.

@ Amy does eating slower work?

Mark

Yes, eating slower and dont drink at the same time as your meal, most do and shouldnt if you produce gas or gurgling. Using gas X works at times. I have been using Gingerforce which helps alot too. Probiotics help too , to regulate your intestines. Hope this helps a bit.
