New to forums and not a good typer so bear with me a min....So after loosing 30# in 3 mos and all the ugliness that goes along with it, I knew something was wrong! So after all the testing and blood work etc. Dr says Crohns and I have no idea what that is and PSC. Again no idea. So I go home and the first thing I do is jump on the internet. All I know is that I can't eat. Boy was I in for an awakening.....REALLY?! This sucks! How? Why? He wants to start me on Remicade but Ins Co says no, Humira first. Starting tomorrow. On 40mg of Prednisone and BP med and 60mg of Dexilant. Sucks getting old. My brother said maybe I should take up smoking pot again. lol I'm thinking to myself what did I do to get 2 uncurable diseases? I'm on a fish, white rice & green bean diet. I'm sure you can relate

Hi! Sorry to hear your diagnoses. My daughter was diagnosed with IBD, PSC, and autoimmune hepatitis last year. This forum is very knowledgeable for IBD issues. I don't know what you have found about PSC, but pscpartners.org is a good resource, and there is a Facebook group called PSC partners seeking a cure that is great for info. It is a closed group, though, so you have to request permission to join.
