Okay, so I'm going to be very frank about what it feels like to poop for a second. For months I'd been able to pass nothing but D, sometimes something slightly thicker but definitely not a solid stool and it was coming out all sorts of weird. A week and a half ago, I was finally diagnosed and given some Mesalazine which has started doing it's thing. Now I'm passing normal stools, and I know they're normal but it feels so weird. Like it's so much more effort than I remember. I'm not constipated at all, but after months of simply having to 'let go' to pass a stool going back to the old way feels wrong and I'm struggling to go except when I really really need to go. Have my butt muscles wasted slightly, maybe, or is it really all in my head?
Not the most important topic in the world, I'm simply curious to know what those of you who've been in remission before experienced. Not exactly something I can ask people I know IRL. Sorry to dump it all on you.
