Just a quick update. Jaime is out of hospital! She had enemas to help clear blockage. She had cameras down throat and into bowels, with no apparent problems! Biopsies have been taken.
I don't really understand why nothing is showing on camera tests as she is really stuggling with moving anything through her digestive system! It seems to stay in her stomach and then she vomits, and has been really backed up, often with no bowel movement for up to two weeks.
However now she has had the enemas, she has managed to open her bowels and is no longer vomiting (still feels nauseous, and has lots of abdo cramping and pain)
Her bp has been pretty low while in around 80-90 over 42-55, and her pulse rate fairly fast (85-120) Does this seem normal for people with IBD??
It is great to have her home, but I feel she still has a lot to go through..
She has been put back on 30mg pred orally and 20mg pred foam. Also salofalk 1g. She has omeprazole 20mg, calceos and ondansetron for sickness, along with several laxatives.
We have been told that she will get an appointment for clinic and to call the IBD nurse if anything gets worse or changes.
