Hello :)

Does anyone get right lower pain, fatigue and urgency without loose stool's, am I flaring?

I'm 7 months post op and currently not on meds, booked in for colonoscopy 9th July! Can't wait to find out what's going on.
I've had a rough year, treated for suspected c diff 4 times and had a whole bunch of symptoms going on that now seem to be consistent with my previous Crohn's symptoms.

Thanks,
Kyle

I get occasional lower right pain, fatigue and joint pain but have never had loose stools. Sometimes it makes me feel a bit of Crohn's fraud!
My colonoscopy came back clear. I was diagnosed by capsule endoscopy. If scope is clear don't give up.

This. You need to be on something even after surgery. Preferably immediately. Your immune system dysfunction doesn't just turn off bc of the operation. The recurrence of Crohn's is much lower in people treated with a biologic after surgery.

Hi,

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, this is what I thought. I find it a little strange that my specialist decided to stop all medication and have this wait period.

The only issue is I'm not in the UK at the moment and this has been a major issue as I haven't had access to my specialist since I left in January. It's been so hard.

Sad to say that I can't wait for my colonoscopy to find out what's going on. Not your typical 30 year old's thoughts. However, this is not your typical disease.

Thank you both for getting back to me. After 2 colonoscopies and a CT scan the crohn's has resurfaced. I believe this had happened some time ago but I've been on metronidazole and I think this has kept it controlled. Now waiting to start taking biologics, this will likely affect a Visa extension as I'm currently residing and working in Canada 👎🏻 damn you crohn's!

I’ve been having this for months. Occasionally I’ll get quite a lot of blood but stools are usually more or less solid. Colonoscopy came back showing “mild inflammation” so I haven’t even been booked in for a follow up. No idea what’s going on! I get the impression that my consultant has patients who are far worse off than me and thinks I’m just wasting his time.

Sorry I can’t be more help.
