Pain when swallowing

Hi, newly diagnosed crohnie here and I just started taking lialda about 3 weeks ago. Recently I've felt like my esophagus was inflamed because when I swallow anything I feel like there is a big food bolus trying to push its way through. Anyway this is a side effect of my medication or is just a part of crohns?

Not sure but your esophagus could be inflamed. Check with your doctor.

It would be a good idea to check with your doctor...sounds as if the oesophagus
Could be narrowing
This should be dealt with as soon as possible.
