Post surgery green usage

I just had surgery on December 7th and got home yesterday. Im going to use hydrocodon for a few days to help with the pain. I was wondering how soon I can resume using herb to help with appetite/pain? Im not in a super rush to do so, but I would much rather use herb to help with pain than a narcotic like hydrocodon. Thanks.

I started the day I got home, I had friends that offered to bring me some in the hospital, however I wasn't moving well enough to sneak outside by myself.

Thanks Jason. Im thinking about getting a vaporizer to avoid coughing.

I used it to supplement the painkillers the hospital prescribed, I have a very high opiate tolerance. If you can get a hold of edibles I recommend it, it's a heavier hitting longer lasting effect.

As of right now I have no access to edibles, but before surgery a hit or two would really help the pain and the appetite.

Illinois is really close to getting MM so I'm gonna be as cautious as possible before it passes. It just sucks that the best thing to help with the symptoms with the least amount of negative side effects is illegal. It really blows my mind.

I would abstain for at least 2 days prior to surgery to avoid any complications with the sedation.
