Anyone have the blood text Prometheus?
I did it on Monday. Outside of getting it done to start an immunosuppresant med does it also confirm crohns disease as a true test?

According to my doc it does. But I think you have to have other tests done in conjunction with it to really confirm. I had a colonoscopy, CT scan and then the prometheus.

I had it. It was done after my endoscopy/colonoscopy to confirm CD over UC. Certain signs of CD had been found in my biopsies and the doctor's observation and Promtheus was used to confirm what she thought.

My lab test through them showed nothing. Had 2 colonoscopies with several biopsies that did confirm UC.

I had the prometheus test after mri and colonoscopy as the final confirmation for chrons. It also was used to formulate a possible plan for the future. It has certain markers that give you a picture of the future in ten year increments. At least that is how it was explained by my doc.
