First off - YES, I have called my Dr and have an appointment for next Wednesday morning....:thumright:

Ok - I get Remicade every 8 weeks - my previous infusion (before this last one) was in early Sept - my BP was fine then.....

Fast forward to this last infusion (week ago) - BP was taken after getting my Benadryl and Solumedrol - and it was about 176/? ...BUT it went down to 130-something over 80something during the infusion.

I wasn't feeling 'quite right' last Wednesday (2 days after infusion) and stopped at the nurses' station here at work to have my BP checked - she got 156/90 and 76 pulse.....:frown:
Yesterday had it checked again - 154/98
checked again today - 144/98 left arm and 142/96 right arm.....

Anyone else have issues with raised BP after infusions? I have been under more stress lately too with home issues - but I have always worked in stressful fields and never had a problem....

I DID turn 40 this year.....hope it isn't me just getting old! .....

I will be getting it checked throughout the week to see if the systolic/diastolic come down - that 98 isn't great.....

Hiya Paso. I'm sorry this is going on. I'm the opposite. My blood pressure drops really fast and I almost pass out. That's if the infusion is going too quickly, and I'm not hydrated well enough.

I really have no idea how to explain this away. Sorry, love. Hang in there.
