I'd like to know how you feel after you get your remicade infusion. Are you tired? If you get benadryl, do you feel sleepy when it's time to leave the infusion center?

Thanks for the info.

I used to be tired when I premedicated with Benadryl. But now I premedicate with loratadine and I am fine after my infusions. As a matter of fact, I do them first thing in the morning and then go to work for the day.

I get iv benadryl, am usually a bit tired, but still sometimes go to work after, such as this Thursday.

I've only had one infusion so far, and I was pre-medicated with benadryl, tylenol, and decadron, and I did feel sleepy when I left. I didn't have any reaction to it, and the nurse left it up to me whether I pre-medicated or not, so when I get my 2nd one next tuesday I'm not going to pre-medicate and see how I feel.

I get benadryl and tylenol as pre-meds, and after my infusion i am usually pretty tired for the following day or two, but after that I am ok. I tend to plan it on a friday so I am off for a few days and try not to make too many plans so I can relax and take it easy. Note i also get my infusions after working night shift so I am not sure how much of the tiredness is strictly from the drug but I do know I am considerably more tired than normal after work when I get my Remicade.

My son got iv benedryl at infusion. Our drive home is about 1 and a half to 2 hours depending on traffic and in the beginning he would nap during the drive. He says he's a bit tired but mainly napped due to the ride. He was always full blast by the time we got home.

I don't get premeds and usually feel fine. Sometimes tired but not overwhelmingly so. My nurses do seem to say fatigue is a common side effect.
