I been in pain for the past 3 days and it is getting worst. The pain triggers like every 5 minutes and sometimes it isn't that bad, but it is almost unbearable right now. I haven't been able to eat much and my stool is pitch black and liquid(looks like coffee). I feel and hear gas moving through my intestines when the pain starts and I am using the bathroom like every hour or two. I don't want to waste every ones time and am not sure if I should just try to tough it out.

Fledoow - Your symptoms, the pain and the black stools (unless you're taking a lot of iron or Pepto Bismol, this may well be an indication of bleeding higher up in the GI tract) are fairly distressing. Given the fact that you have had the discomfort for several days, and that it is increasing, I would suggest you play it safe & get it checked out ASAP. Can't hurt, right?

i agree with everyone - go see a doctor, now. if you can't get an urgent appointment with your own gp, go down to A&E.. symptoms are there for a reason, they're our alert system, and it's not good to ignore them.... please go, and let us know how you are.

I saw my doctor last thursday and the first thing he told me is... why did you wait so long before coming to the hospital. With this kind of problems I suggest not waiting and just go and see the doctor. Long term pain is never a good thing.
