Should I Go to the ER?

Hey all!

I am a little frustrated tonight. I have been having the darker stools with dark blood [diarrhea] in it for about two days now. I usually have a regular bowel movement once a day. Also, for a week+ I have been having some serious joint pain. I told my parents that I was in pain and pooping dark stuff and my mother told me it must be something I'm eating and my dad said make an appointment. It is as is no one understands that I am in pain [maybe since the pain comes and goes].

IDK, maybe I am just overreacting to my symptoms but I wish I at least had something to deal with the pain. Would you go to the ER?

I would go to the er! Rather be safe than sorry! Are you running a fever? I've been having awful joint pain with my crohns lately too!

I'd be less worried about the pain and more worried about the blood. You can't leave that unchecked. If you don't go to the ER then you really do need to see your GI doc asap but the ER can run some tests while you're there. Usually when in doubt, go.
