Hi everyone, i went to my gp today to talk about the new pain i have been getting, coming home on a coach from visiting my gf yesterday i had stabbing pains in my tummy but on the left side just at the side of my belly button but also the same stabbing throbbing pains from the right hip to, as i was walking it was made worse i cant really describe it but i just felt so dizzy and hot like i was just going to faint i could not wait to get home and was sick. I was wondering if any of you guys have ever had this, i told this all the my gp today and she just made me feel like whats the point in telling you this as all she seemed to say was well the tests you have had has showed nothing serious is going on other than this visceral hypersensitivity, be happy chill out are you a worrier!! i just felt like crying because they just completly dont understand there was inflammation before the drs f**ked up the steriods and then colonscopy so now it has gone but im still no better, also im on these low dose anti depressant tablets and wondering if everything im taking is coming up or coming out are these things going straight through me!

Sorry you are feeling so bad Porter.....Maybe check out the symptoms for Alkalosing Spondyitis....A few others here suffer with it.....If you don't get the treatment you need from the GP, maybe consider a second opinion.

Hi Porter

I think you'd be best looking for another GP. It wont be helping your stress levels and symptoms if you dont think anyone's helping you. Your GP doesnt sound up to much anyway to be honest, although one of the consultants at the hospital told me that my Crohns was to do with stress at home and I had to get rid of that (i.e. my husband) and I'll be fine, then promptly discharged me!!!! What an idiot.

You cant go on like that. You're now going to be reluctant to go back with any issues and that's not a good place to be - you need to have a GP you can work with.

Hope you get it sorted xx

Hi everyone thanks for your kind messages, after fainting again today i think that maybe i am going to just take a trip down to a&e i just feel im getting dehydrated and i cannot stop what is happening. I looked at the symptoms for ankylosing spondilytis i am with a phsio therapist and she did say the joints at the side of my thoracic and lumbar are very tense and are locked in so dont no what that means i am meant to be attendin a class so maybe i will ask about this.

Hi porter - definately try and see someone else or find a new GP? Since this is an ongoing condition you really want to have a good relationship with your doctor!!!
