I was just interested to hear the insane, out of this world dreams/nightmares that people have had being on steroids or any other medication.

So far I have had crazy dreams almost every night that I am on steroids.
I just started them[steroids] again for the 2nd time, and i look forward to the crazy "movie-like" shows that go on in my sleep. :shifty-t:

Just wondering if this happens to other people.. If so i would love the funny details :thumleft:

I can't remember any crazy dreams I had, but I do remember how little sleep I needed on Prednisone. Some nights I think I had less than 2 hours and I would wake up unable to go back to sleep with energy to last me through the day.

This helped me as I was studying for final exams and this extra time to study certainly resulted in me receiving higher marks.

I spent one entire night butchering moose while on azathioprine. I woke up exhausted that morning! Another night I dreamt a friend tried to steal our truck and shot me when I went to stop him. Luckily about 3 weeks into taking the aza, my dreams have started to calm down a bit. That was three very un-restful weeks!

Hey Mikey, It does make you wonder whether the side effect is really that bad, doesn't it? Ahah, more waking hours = more useful time! I'm back on them again and it seems to be pretty helpful with catching up what time you lost from being effected by a flare up, Like catching waking hours back again or something. Have never had strange dreams with them though.

I never had any weird dreams on Pred but horrible hallucinations/dreams on Dilaudid. So much so that I requested to be put on other pain meds in the hospital. I don't remember the details only that I hard time distinguishing between dream and some state of consciousness. It was very weird and I refuse Dilaudid now at any point and rather deal with Oxycodone.
