I have these symptoms a lot too. My gastroenterologist told me to eat small meals 6 times a day which helps. People seem to discount inflammation in the bowels. Think if you had a black eye which is inflammation and swelling. Think of how bad that hurt. (Too many years in Karate) It seems easier to understand an injury or illness if we can see it. I requested to see my x-rays yesterday to see my progress on the impaction which they were kind enough to go over. This helps me mentally. People read images which is a fallible system, wish it was done by computers or better both. Brain fog is frustrating, I'm in a perpetual state of that....is it from the medication.....the illness....the blast injury....who knows it's just there so we have to figure out what to do about this new enemy.

If you haven't started one already start a spread sheet on your medical reports. Blood work, tests, bowel movements and such. My doctors have appreciated this a lot. I recently got an app "GI Monitor" it is way cool. It can also be sent to doctor. Keep heart.

My doctor told me the same about the smaller meals six times a day shortly after my resection.

I have pain and bloating after eating anything right now. And my specialist seems to think it may be gallbladder. He requested an ultrasound. So far though I haven't received news on when that might be. So struggling along. Its hard when you know you are in pain but not sure what the cause is. So I have this possible gallbladder issue along with the normal inflammation/pain and bleeding from my bowels. Pretty much only water and tea are the only things that don't cause me any issues right now!

OMG we are twins right now....the doctors just suggested this because of labs and I'm going for some more tests today. I have researched Crohn's Disease a lot but never gallbladder. We will fight this battle buddy.

alunke82,

Welcome. Feel free to reach out to me any time. I'm sorry to hear you are having such troubles. Nobody asks for this kind of pain.

Maybe you should be tested for Crohn's It could be the problem. Unfortunately there are many similar conditions that can mimic Crohn's disease. Don't worry about your English it is OK. I think you need to see a doctor though. If your doctor now isn't listening or helping you could try to see a new one. Maybe a second opinion would help.

Hang in there and welcome again,

cmack

Hello dejavucandace,

You do sound like GI Jane's twin right now. I hope you both get your problems resolved soon.

All the best to you,
