For the past several weeks I have had a strange feeling around my stoma. It feels like something pushing inward and at other times something pushing outward. I won't say it is painful, but it is annoying at times. Everything around the stoma looks great, no irritation or bulging. I am using a convex wafer with a belt to help secure everything. The system I'm using works great, I get 4-5 days wear time, but I wonder if the convex wafer may be causing this. Anyone experience anything like this?

Well I'm new to all this but I felt pressure from the convex wafer pushing inward. It's possible with movement that you feel more and less pressure and hence the pushing inward and outward feeling based on your position and movement.

Chances are that you have adhesions formed (on the outside of the bowel) from your surgery and what you are feeling is just the pull of this with normal peristalsis.
