Sudden confusing symptoms

Hi all,

I've been in remission since 2013 and I'm on Humira and things have been ticking over fine. This weekend, however, I have started with sudden unpleasant symptoms which include; lots of stomach grumbling and gargling, diarrhoea after everything I eat but it appears more 'silt' in the toilet bowl than liquid. It's as if my body is trying to expel anything I eat. I'm on a low residue diet anyway and I can't recall eating anything that could upset it like this. My stomach feels generally off and I had bit of a pain before and then needed the toilet soon after. I'm also burping a lot more than usual.

Any advice about these symptoms and what to do would be helpful. I'm unsure if to wait and see how it goes or contact my GP and request bloods and a stool sample test in case it's some kind of bug that isn't showing the classic tummy bug symptoms?

Thanks.

Do you know if you have any food sensitivities that might be causing it?

I know that when I get a lactose reaction, I get a lot of pressure and gurgling from my stomach, and will usually end up in the washroom within thirty minutes of having whatever triggered it.

Otherwise, if you have a GI, you should go to them rather than a GP. A GP wouldn't be as helpful, since it isn't their specialty.
