does anyone get sweats just out of the blue?
Today I was getting a haircut and felt a little crap but was sweating like a pig in the chair and it's 16 degrees Celsius here and now were coming into winter I don't wanna be out and about sweating then get a cold from it.
I asked my doc but got the usual I dunno it's prob just the crohn's oh and I also took a pain killer before hand also just been getting theese sweats here and there lately anyone got any insight on this

nah no meds except anti-histamine and paracetamol painkillers I know all about the pred sweats been there done that yukk

I do but think it's more cos of my age , did have bad night sweats, again not sure if it's my tum or age......our both? I'm opening windows and everyone else is complaining about the cold! Lol. Sorry this isn't very helpful, I know crohns can cause night sweats but I've no idea if the same happens during the day, I don't see why not? Hope you find out what's happening soon, take care. :ghug:

I get bad night sweats but I take a coconut oil infused with marijuana and helps keep the night sweats away I would do the same during the day but I don't like being stoned during the day

Paracetamol can bring me out in a sweat if I have a low fever I think that is how it brings your temperature down .

Any pain killer makes me very hot. I don't know why, but about 45 minutes after I take one, I get a hot flash. Maybe that's why?

I get hit red cheeks sometimes and periodic fevers. The surgeon told me the inflammation from the Crohns can cause it.

Im a little worried something is going on because I have started bleeding again and I haven't had blod for a long time.

Also I slept very well last night but woke tired and feel tired now might have to go the some bloodwork done not sure what I should ask them to check cause otherwise I feel ok

Maybe request a full blood count, crp and also for deficiencies....I don't really know I'm just guessing :), probably should just ask them what might need done and your right to get get it checked out.

Hi

I get the sweats quite often for no apparent reason. I'm especially prone to very bad night sweats. Drinks with caffeine (tea/coffee/coke) can also give me sweats but not always.
I'm also a very poor sleeper and have very vivid dreams (possibly a side effect of medication).

Currently my Crohns seems to be in remission - occasionally I feel ill but I do not get many of the traditional Crohn's symptoms. I have been on Aziothioprine for nearly 3 years.
