Taking Humira, Getting Sick...

Okay folks...I have a medical question. I am taking Humira, but I am also getting sick. First thought it was allergies, but now I am getting that raspy cough, coughing stuff, a bit of a wheeze. Our immune system is suppose to be lowered with this, right? I just started back teaching my first graders today...NO TIME to have bowel issues AND be sick. Should I call my GI or just go to my PCP (Who is very involved in my Crohns as well)?

Sinus and respiratory problems are a really common side-effect of Humira. Call your GI and let them know.

But nothing much to worry about, right? I did, actually after I posted. I am scheduled to see my PCP tomorrow after work. I feel so naive when it comes to this, and I am sure I have been asking so may questions. Hoping I am not being too bothersome...

I get sinus problems from Humira, and I usually just take a cold and sinus medication and it goes away shortly after that... so I don't think it's that serious for sinus. I've asked others about it and it's just something we have to deal with. I've never had it affect my lungs though, so I can't say for that...

Bronchitis for me this time; I haven't had this in probably 15 years...I have sinus issues frequently as well, Ocean. (Second day with students and I feel like I have been run over by a train.)
