tingles in all the wrong places

:poo:Does anyone have issues with your bowels feeling like pins and needles sensation(like when your hand falls asleep)? It radiates down the back of my legs and I have pressure on the rectum and fullness sensation. SO ANNOYING

I've got that sort of deal going on, lesser as of now, but last week it was painful.
I also noticed that the nerve damage from the 2005 bout of sepsis is worse now...toes are numb and one foot feels like the sock is bunched at the ball of the foot.

I have not personally experiences something like that, but it is something you should absolutely bring up with your doctor the next time you see them.

I may be wrong, but I actually think I have heard of that being a symptom of diabetes. I don't want to alarm you or get you worred about something that might not even be there, but just want to stress the importance of discussing this with a medical practitioner.

Not so much pins and needles but real pain. I've had a lot of infections and surgeries. Neither the Medics or Surgeons are really interested.

Hi chickee:

Yep, count me in as having pins and needles on my butt with the pressure on my rectum and feeling of fullness. Annoying is right! That feeling of fullness and pressure on my rectum sometimes translates into messing my pants ever so slightly, which is on the super-annoying scale. The numbing and tingling sensation occurs *just* before the feeling of fullness and pressure.

Part of the reason this is happening for me is because I have a recto-vaginal fistula. My GI said that the feeling of fullness is and the tingling is, in part, the stool wanting to divert through the fistula tract. For sure, when I try to control the rectal pressure to get to the bathroom, I pass stool through my vaginal area rather than through my anus.

I'm not sure what might be causing these symptoms for you, but I'd give the doctor a call to have it checked out.

Stay well,

Kismet
