Everyone on this forum is doing the best job they can. Even you lurkers who have never posted are helping yourselves and others by at least researching and learning and sharing what you've learned. The admins and mods and monitors are all doing their best to make sure that everyone gets the help they need when they have the time to do it.
We're all taking the time out of our busy schedules to come in here and help everyone we possibly can all over the world. This is a very slow moving forum because there are so few people who suffer from IBD who have joined this site and that's a good thing. I wouldn't want this place to move any faster because that means there's more people out there getting sick. We don't want that.
I've seen some threads pop up saying that they did not get the help in the time they needed and may have even given up on the forum entirely. For that we are all sorry but we're all coming on here when we get the chance to come in and help everyone. It takes a long time to respond to threads who have little to no responses because there are so many to go through.
If you ever feel like you haven't gotten the support you needed then please PLEASE use the fairly new feature where you can request additional support http://www.crohnsforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=217 It was created just for these types of situations. Type in your name and add at the end "Requests Additional Support." You will also receive an email if you have very few responses within 3 days asking if you'd like additional support and a new thread will be made in there for you automatically. I know for a fact that everyone who requests additional support gets it.
There's also the name tagging system so look up the names of the mods and admins and tag us if you want by adding our names and we will come in and respond. You can view the list of forum leaders here: http://www.crohnsforum.com/showgroups.php which can be found on the main page above the list of Currently Active Users.
