I am always seeing grains and vegetables in my stool...any one else deal with this? I chew really well and the veggies can even be cooked as well as the grains.
i also deal with diarrhea, mucous and sometimes blood in stool or just passing by itself.

I had that problem a lot, and yes after a long time, I clearly wasn't getting the nutrients I needed. I think the bigger problem though was food that was meant to be digested in the small intestine was making it into the large intestine and then feeding lots of bad actors that shouldn't have been there which was making my Crohn's worse.

I eventually went on a very low sugar and grain free diet and started taking digestive enzymes and betaine HCL. Once I did that my digestion was a lot better and haven't seen whole foods in my stool since (except pepper seeds). I have tried lots of brands and they all seemed to work for me some, but the better ratings on iherb or amazon did seem to work better.

It basically means that your body isn't fully breaking it down, it's not really something to worry about as such, unless you think that it's making your symptoms worse ( a food diary might help you work this out) .

There are some foods that the body just can't totally break down, they aren't necessarily unhealthy, and if they don't cause you any issues then it's totally fine to keep eating them.

Since you are getting D and blood , it would be a good idea to let your doctor know about it, incase inflammation is having an effect on your ability to digest food and absorb nutrients.
