My crohns flares have always been bad spasm at the bottom of my ribs..my crohns is in my small int. ....But the past couple of days I have pain very low in front...very low....maybe near where my ovaries are...and also having pain in my rectum...I have never had this before.

I'm sorry, KRT. :(

My Crohn's is also in my small intestine, and my pain is typically in the area you described (very low stomach, between my hip bones). It does sound like it could be the beginnings of a flare. Have you contacted your GI?

I have an apt. tomorrow with my primary care doctor...he'll send me on probably. I've never hurt in my rectum...if I even pass gas it really hurts.

That is what happened to me 2 weeks before the biggest flare of my life. An incredible and extraordinarily painful experience that lasted 2-3 months before meds started knocking it back.

It could be a minor flare or hiccup or part of a larger one coming. I don't mean to scare you just that you need to get it taken care of and looked at seriously if you can.

I have always had my flares low in my pelvis and no higher than my belly button. I also have had rectal pain in the past. However, today, I have started having a lot of pain up high near my ribs. I wasn't sure if this was a flare but maybe it is since this is where KRT has had pain.

Sorry that you are flaring.

Before I was diagnosed with Crohn's and put on medication and during one flare I've had, I always had pain in my right ovary area. My understanding is this is typical with Crohn's and with Crohn's in the terminal ileum area. I also had back aches. So you could very possibly be going into a flare. If so, I hope you knock it quickly.

Update on IS THIS A FLARE

I posted a couple days ago an ask "Is This A Flare"...well I went to my Dr. yesterday and he sent me to the hospital for a CT.... It is a flare in my large int....I've always had them in my small...I still don't understand the change...They put me on Cipro and Flagyl and I'm suppose to get a call from GI dr. today...they started to admit me, but for some reason did not.
