Hey everyone.

I'm in the middle of my trip in Chile and as such I'm a bit far from my GI.
The thing is I've gotten better with the medication but one thing still remains. I'm obstipated, I only do it once per week or so.
The last few times I've noticed my feces are yellow. This usually indicates a high amount of grease in my diet (or hepatitis, but let's not go there :/).
I have restricted my diet as a non-fiber diet. I avoid them at all! So no fiber rich meals for me. I still have some intake from other stuff but I avoid vegetables and fruits.
So the feces are yellow, molded with normal consistency.

Anyone experienced anything similar to this or can give me a hint.

Thanks yall.

Hi there, not had this problem myiself so I cannot help but I hope someone in the know comes along shortly. The only thing online that was mentioned a few times was infection, could you have picked up a bug? Do you have any pain with this?

Hmm...are you eating anything with seasoning/spices that might add color? If you are feeling ok otherwise, I don't know that I would be too concerned.....

weird! ..... hope you are enjoying your trip otherwise!

I'm not feeling any pain other than the usual unease that came with my Crohn's. There has been a change in my diet indeed, and now that I think of it, it might be one of the causes.
Since I was diagnosed I stopped eating fried food. But when I came here, due to travelling, I faced that fact that I had to eat some fried stuff. And so I did. I found that it didn't upset my intestines so I kept on eating it. In the past 2 days I've eaten fried food in every meal. That alone doesn't explain the color since it's been like that for a few weeks. But it could have helped :/

UPDATE: I now have loose stool, still yellow. Somewhat like a "D" but only had 1 trip to the toylet. Will see how it develops.

In case I start with D i'll attack with Imodium and start Antibiotic I brought with me. Good choice?

If it's getting looser it certainly cannot hurt to try the Imoduim first and then perhaps the antibiotic, hopefully they can hit it on the head. Try to cut back on the fried food, this could be a sign that actually your tummy does not like it.

hi there, i have had a lot of yellow stools especially before i was diagnosed. yellow stools were the main reason i was at drs. the colour yellow woukld also tint the toilet water yellow. since then i have been diagnosed with crohns and have been routinely tested for hepatitis and did not have it. i think the yellow coulour is from mucus in my case. when i have some pain they are yellow. when i feel great, no yellow. hope that helps

My stools have been very watery and yellow, with mucus. My GI suspects small intestine bacterial overgrowth. I was put on 2 antibiotics. Hope you get yourself sorted out!

Fried foods definitely do not agree with me!
