uti or something else

hi everyone. A little update, had a tooth pulled july 18, got infected, did 3 sets of antibiotics and it's just out of my system this weekend(azithomycin). Did a urine test on aug 8th, was okay, then aug 10 started having lower groin and back pain, no burning pee but have always went lots before. Went to er on Aug 16, did a urine dip, blood and nitrated but dr. wanted to wait for culture since i took so much antibiotics already. It came back negative, but was talking to pharmacist and said the anitibiotics can make a false negative. So went back to er yesterday, did a urine dip, only blood andnothing else and i told him seeing a urologist next month for always having blood in urine. He said when everythings else is negative and there is blood ,its usually something else, so he said wait to see urologist. He said for the culture, if its positive they'll let me know. But of course me i looked up urine cultures and some are not accurate. Also yesterday woke up with a bit more pain and today went down a bit. But also spotting today for periods but the pain feels a bit more different than the monthlys. It kind of just stays, with monthlys it comes and goes. Also there is pain to the hips and goes a little down front of thighs. I keep a journal but don't write in it everyday. I've checked back and this has happened within the last least 2 years, but then it would go away after a couple days, this is the longest. Also the pain in back got slightly worse but the groin is more or less the same. I know i'm being stubborn with antibiotics but its just that i took so much already and will take them only if necessary and my tests are negative. I know i'm taking a chance on it turning to the kidney. But this has happened before so maybe i'll find out more from urologist. Forgot always check for fever and none. What should i do, go back, they're going to call me crazy, how many times i' ve went in. Please some advice.

So Sunday night I started having the same pains that you are describing with out burning pee as well. I didnt read to much into it as my body has been through so much these past 3 months that there are new pains and what nots popping up alot, however when I woke up Monday morning it was still there and more intense. Although it did not hurt to go to the bathroom I thought that maybe it was a UTI so I called my dr. I went in that day and gave a urine specimen and in the cup were these two little rocks, I had passed kidney stones without knowing it. I too had blood in my urine although there was no infection and my culture has not grown anything. I am also going to see a urologist as well but my dr told me its more common for crohns to get kidney stones due to the amount of different medicines that we consume. He told me to take over the counter AZO and that should help with the pain. This might not be whats going on with you but I just wanted to share that. Hope everything gets better for you:)

Thank you for reply. I phoned office today for the culture and they didn't check it, the lady said the dr. didn't have it checked because everything was okay, except for the blood which i am going to see a urologist for. This has been a on going problem for 2 years and each time i always suspected a uti. Sometimes i would have one and sometimes not. But this is the longest its lasting and now my monthly pains are adding to it and i don't which pain is which. You know what is so maddening is that my monthly's seem to always come when i'm having some issue, like i've had 2 colonoscopies and each time i have to have my monthlys. I've never wished this before but now i wish i was done with them.
