VAAFT treatment

Hi every one i'm new to it a few weeks old... I hv been confirmed a fistula in ano and there is this open surgery and vaaft treatment. ( visual assistance anal fistula treatment) the doctors have asked me to make a choice in between these two methods, although i hv searched it in google n found that it is quite a succesful treatment than normal general surgery. I just wanted to know has anyone gone through this proceedure and what was the outcome.. Please help me soon
