4 weeks ago I had a colonoscopy which showed ulcers in the terminal ileum. The biopsies confirmed Crohn's Disease. Last week my GI decided to repeat the colonoscopy because I have severe abdominal pain. This one came back normal. I was on prednisone for 3 1/2 weeks and have been on budesonide for 4 weeks.

Now there is questions on whether or not it was Crohn's Disease to begin with. I thought I had answers now I feel so alone my doctor will not answer this for me.

Hey. I can't give you a definate answer but colonoscopy with biopsy is about the best diagnostic tool.

Sorry I can't be of any help. Can you get a second opinion?

Sending you my support.

I have been in remission and scopes and biopsies were clean.

Mine was sugically induced remission.

Thank you. I am hoping my GI will be better than the lower I have now. He made me an appointment with a surgeon tomorrow to talk about exploratory laproscopy because I have so much abdominal pain and nothing that shows to cause the pain
