what is going on!??

Have been good for the last few weeks.. not pain free but HEAPS better.. today.. as the day is going on my tummy is getting SO sore.. my lower tummy & back feels like it's being stabbed and is on fire :-( have had panadol and codeine (30mg) but it's not helping.. it's getting worse so quickly.. it's nearly as bad as when I was admitted :-(

I know this isn't what you want to hear, but going to the hospital/ER is probably your best bet. It could be a flare-up of IBD, it could be something more serious like a bowel blockage or perforation, it could even be something unrelated to your guts, like kidney stones. You won't know though until you get it looked at. Please, definitely if it gets worse or doesn't improve, please do go to the doctor or hospital. Good luck, worried about you, please post an update soon so we know if you went to the hospital and what the verdict was.

awww thanks for caring Cat.. I'm still home.. still taking codeine.. I'm no worse so will go with this for now.. I dread going to the hospital because they said there's nothing wrong because I had a colonoscopy 6 years ago.. even though the CTE has shown inflammation.. I reckon they'll still say that without biopsy there's nothing wrong and just make me feel 2cms tall.

Make sure you take a copy of the CT report with you.

When my flare is bad enough I have right "flank" pain. Middle if my back towards my spine but, not at my spine. I am guessing its where my inflamation is.

Actually, looking back over the last 9 months I must have been in denial about what was going on in my body!!
