Well, I started back at the end of January and got some good deals for my nieces and nephews. I was done by the end of April for them.

I only need to get my MIL's gift and my husband's and then I am done!!

WOOHOO!! :D:D:D

Has anybody else started and finished theirs?

Are you kidding me?!?!?!

It isn't even a twinkle in my eye yet!!!

Dusty.

No, go AWAY lol

I usually start in July/ August keeping an eye out for things and pick up as I see things.

The hard part is that all the good deals are in November/December so I usually save up and take a couple of days to purchase everything.

I managed to get some really great deals on Amazon.com, Walmart, Lakeside Collectibles, and Current. I saved $$$$. Yankee Candle is having their semi annual sale so the tarts are $1 and now Bath and Body Works is having their semi annual sale so I will get a few things to keep on hand just in case.

One less thing for me to worry about.

oh,nooooooooooooooooo, please. It's bad enough that xmas starts right after the kids summer hols.By the time December arrives I've lost the will to live (or at least be jolly) then straight after xmas, the Easter eggs are on display. There should be a law against it.

Wow... I must be a bit of a procrastinator on that aspect. Christmas shopping generally happens after my Fall finals which means somewhere between 15-20th of December. XD By that time I get mad to get stuck in a crowds everywhere I go so I end up calling a post-Xmas event to give my belated gifts ><.

And I thought I was bad:) Since I work in a grocery store, I do everything that I can to have my Christmas shopping totally finished by november. It's bad enough to work in a store without having to fight the crowds to go Christmas shopping! Talk about ticked off people!!!!

Don't do christmas at all.Family in Aus.so just me,hubby and the dog.Usually go for a hike then something pre-prepared for lunch, but just got a flier through the door and noticed the local Indian restaurent is open,so might just have a take away.Sad,I know but we're used to it. Don't even buy pressies,so it all just passes me by.

There's a bit of Aussie influence in talking about "pressies" !! ;)
"Y'know, we get the pressies for the rellies in Brissie" here.. Ahem!
As for Christmas, it's not even vaguely on the radar yet!!

I just finished getting my Bailey Grace's doggie gifts. now I am TOTALLY DONE!!! WOOHOO!!! I love being done early because I avoid the crowds, driving in bad weather, and trying to find a parking space.

I'll stay warm and cozy at home wrapping everything.

I shop for xmas gifts throughout the year so I've always got a few gifts on hand. My sister-in-law collects antique cameras, and she doesn't use them, just wants them to display as she thinks they look cool, so whenever I see an old camera for a good price I snap it up. I found one for $12 back in May and it's pretty neat, so her gift is bought already! I have a few other things too although my shopping is still far from done.

If that's not enough, hubby and I are already planning our Halloween costumes for this year. :) We put a lot of thought and effort into costumes so that's really a year-round thing for us too.

Too many birthdays and other holidays stealing my money throughout the year so I wait until Dec. 1st ish so start shopping and I usually do it online unless certain people are in town then its a trip to the dollar store. :p

My mom's been collecting calendar plates for the years we've all been born. Unfortunately, they're hard to find. So, I continually look around hoping to find one for her.

I am a Christmas freak!!! I buy stuff as I see it all year long. Mainly decorations and things like that though. I can't really buy for the grands early as they grow/change so quickly. Hubby and I normally buy each other one nice gift together and I'm done!
