Anyone try this or know more about it? I'm very interested in this because I heard good things. Anyone in NY who prescribes?

I've read about it, yes. My guess is that it causes the body to move from an adaptive immune response (that is malfunctioning and stuck in a vicious cycle with Crohn's Disease) characterized by prevalence of M2 macrophages to an innate immune response characterized by M1 macrophages as the body is thinking (correctly) that there is an acute infection present. My guess is fecal transplants work the same general way rather than the probiotic effect most think of.

Someone else's poop or eating parasitic worms. Tough choice huh?

If you're game to try it, I say go for it :)

I recently heard about the poop thing and you are probably right that both force the body to address them and somehow may divert attention.

I am going to do more research because from what I understand you drink a glass of water with worn eggs. You don't even see anything and yes it's gross conceptually but it may help so much and can be killed by antibiotics. Plus I'll lose weight!

If you do go for it, we would love love love for you to create a thread where you regularly update us with your progress.
