Well, this is pretty embarassing, but if anyone has anything to say that may be helpful, please do!I recovered from my first/only hemorrhoidectomy in February of this year. I had 4 external skin tags. It seemed to heal up pretty well, and in decent time. But the hemmorhoids have been slowly sneaking back...
So... Here it is December, only 10 months after "healing", and they have gotten so terrible (difficult to sit, stand, etc; extrememly painful to have BMs (worse to wipe)) I'm wondering if surgery would have to be done again. I know they are external and there are several. I'm almost wondering if one has burst, also because it feels so tender (for the past 2+ weeks) and there is leakage that looks like a mixture of blood and ??. I, of course, have tried to prevent them by using otc things such as tucks, etc, but to no avail.
Anyways, here is my question... The first hemorrhoidectomy was apparently a failure. I know there are a few other procedures that they can do. Anyone have a suggestion as to which may help more?
Thanks so much...
