Thankyou for sharing Daisy, hydration is very important and something that's easy to forget about and let slip. Make sure you take care everyone.

Ahhh... something I struggle with daily. Especially since I dislike water! I got into the habit awhile ago of drinking gatorade at least a few times a day, being I could not fathom the idea of drinking a ton of water. Worked amazingly. Only unfortunate part is you gain weight very easily drinking gatorade..Unless you need to gain, then it kills two birds with one stone. At the time I did this, I DID need to gain..I gained 9 pounds in 1 month..which was unheard of for me at the time. So it was a big deal!

One of the main problems that people with IBD suffer from is dehydration, however it is often overlooked. Good resource, thanks for sharing.

Awesome info. I never had a problem with hydration until i got Crohns. All the bowel movements devastated my electrolytes and hydration levels. I tried fighting it with gatorade, but all that sugar sickened me. I drink a cup of coconut water to every cup of water and that worked wonders. Even before i had Crohns my hangover cure was drinking coconut water towards the end of my night of drinking, or as soon as i became aware of my actions.
