Delaying MTX shot due to infection

When you see signs of infection(sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, fatigue body aches, diarrhea), do you delay your mtx shot? Can delaying a shot be harmful for mtx treatment?

It depends how long you delay for but methotrexate has a short half life and you want to keep the levels constant. I would run it by your doctor and let them make the call.

Last time my girl was sick we were told to proceed with shot but notify if she worsened before the next shot was due. I'm with nogutsnoglory.....check with the doc!
