Excessive gas and green stool

Hi.
I've been diagnosed as having ibs.
Lately I've had really bad gas (it smells!) and green poop! The poop is either formed or soft. Sometimes diarrhea.
I've recently had a "virus" that lasted a while but went away. Could this be related?
I'm having a lot of discomfort. What can this be from.
I've never had bad gas during the day. This is new!

Has your diet changed recently? Are you taking a probiotic or new supplement?
It might be the tail end of the virus.

I've started vsl#3 a probiotic but we lowered the dose about a week or two ago. I'm also on so many meds I can't even count. Most are for reflux though.

The probiotic could be the culpret.
