Even though I walked with my class in May

The degree for myself and 9 of my classmates went through today!!!!! I now have my Masters in Mental Health Counseling!! Yey I am so happy. Even with all this adversity it happened!

I've lied to you all, I have no clue who the artist is, and that is not directly a portrait of me (although I just stated it was a portrait didn't say whose). The portrait is of my doppelgänger, acclaimed visual artist and director Julian Schnabel.

When I showed my ex the portrait, she asked wh owned the dog and if my room mate Yuli painted it.

That is so cool! I wonder if I have an evil twin out there? Or maybe I'm the evil one...

I would never even had questioned it. That portrait looks JUST like you..uncanny.
 
I don't really have many photos of me apart from the few I'm using to show my weight gain after my op, so I guess I'll just post up the latest one which was actually taken today (roughly 18 months after my op)

i was going to use a picture for my avatar and then post one on here but every picture on my facebook seams to be me out partying or something along those lines somekind of alcohol in the picture (as i never get a picture in any other place)

i'll try and find one asap

I'm learning how to ski! Well, I can ski (badly), I just need to find a skiing companion to start going on skiing holidays with.
 
skiing is my life, I race and I coach, it consumes my winter. I wouldn't have it any other way. hah I am always happy to see more people picking up the sport.

We did it!! Boyfriend and I were able to donate 50 turkeys yesterday to the local homeless coalition!

Thanks, emr. We usually donate food for thanksgiving (my thing), and toys for xmas (his thing). Every year too. And, yup, we bought all the turkeys. :D So lucky I found someone as giving as I am.

Haha thanks! She's definately the eye catcher of the two though. If you look you'll see my crooked, broken nose as a result of me falling down the stairs while playing with my toys as a kid lol
 
Well you see, I had this set of stairs where it had a slope to the side. It was some kind of trim or something but I had this dump truck I would set on there, let go, then try to slide down the stairs on my butt to beat it to the bottom. Never happened so one day I got the idea maybe I could get more downforce if I went on my stomach head first. Well.... We'll leave it that lol. I'm not messed up in the head I promise! Lol. My brothers just never wanted to play and rolling a dump truck in circles isn't fun so I had to get creative.

Thanks KWalker! I've had this short cut now for 2½ years and I have to say that I love it. My hair is so thin, typical finnish hair, so it doesn't look good when it's longer. Wish I had thick hair...

I think I missed that gene, but my brothers got it! Here is a picture of my brothers and myself. This was taken about 1.5 weeks before my adventure started at my brother's (the Marine) wedding.

Brother in Marine dress uniform just got married. My other brother in the back right side is in the Army and is defiantly the most handsome of the three of us and is a good guy and available to anyone in Maryland ladies (his position will keep him there for a long time so no worrying about moving)! And me sitting down in the front...

That thing is actually a tinwhistle from... somewhere. I just needed something in my hand for the photo. It was one of those "g-ddamn, it's 3am, and we can't sleep, let's be idiots" kinda photos.
