Happy 4th - your plans?

I know for many, this weekend will be a long one - 3 days off....unfortunately (kind of) - I'll be WORKING! Yup.....a looooong day - 8am to about midnight....(yay for Remicade lol).....

I know we have a few upstate-NY'ers - any of you go to the Plaza in Albany for the fireworks? That is where I will be - one of the 'perks' to my job - up close and personal to the fireworks and concerts! :ycool:

Speaking of which - time to go in for the day!!!

Not in the US, but I'll chime in anyway. It's a long weekend up in Canada also, as today (July 1st) is Canada Day. We'll likely head into the Uptown (our City calls the downtown Uptown) after we feed the little guy (six weeks old tomorrow) and take in a few events. We had planned to go cheer on some friends running a road race this morning, but decided to take some sleep while we could get it.

Yes, I am a Certified Code Enforcement Official in New York State among other things.....I don't do much with new construction, more with existing buildings.....

Thanks everybody! Scott actually has the 4th off, so we may take the canoe out and then have a family BBQ. Scott's a southern boy, so his BBQ is heavenly. Please CD cooperate! I hope everyone has a happy, healthy, and safe 4th of July!
