I have been recomended to go on humira and MTX. I know Abbot labs has a program for uninsured and unemployed. My question is has anyone gone through this process? Is this something that can be facilitated in the GI's office? Or is it mostly done on my own?
My GI appointment is this Monday and was wondering since I am still on 40mg of prednisone and haven't been tapred yet could this complicate things? What questions should I be prepared to ask other than the obvious with methotrexate and Humira being potentially dangerous drugs?
What personal information should I be prepared to bring to prove to Abbott that I am unemployed? I do get unemployment insurance, but will have to stop that soon to facilitate a Social Security claim. Any help is as always appriciated, if you guys can think of anything else I need to know please let me know.
Thanks in Advance, as any of you I am just tired of Crohns. :ymad:
