Ileostomy reversal coming up

So the news that I have waited for since having emergency surgery for a perfed colon has come, the ileostomy that was placed will be reversed. March 3rd is the day!

So my questions for those of you that had the surgery before are: Just how long after the surgery did they keep you sedated? How long was your recovery time for you to return to work? How long did it take to regain somewhat normal control of your movements?

I know experience varies person to person but I'm just curious.
