I have Crohn's and am currently on Humira every two weeks, 6 mg prednisone (prolonged tapering process), iron supplement, omeprazole, vitamin d supplement, vitamin b12 supplement, multivitamin, and citracal.
Anyway, question for everyone. The last week I have had significant jaw pain, in my TMJ region. It gets worse when I eat chewy things that require a lot of jaw motion. It feels very tight and I feel pressure all the way into my ears. I know our disease can affect all parts of our bodies, so just wondering anyone else has had this experience? I also know that my medication causes immunosuppression, so not sure if I have an ear infection and just don't know....the pain is all in my jaw though, just pressure in my ear area. No swelling, no fever, no pain inside my mouth, and it is equal on both sides of my jaw (one side is not worse than the other).
Just curious...its quite annoying. Although, it hasn't kept me from eating...
