Thanks Cat. It won't work out, given the current political scenario. It was for a H1B visa, which is under fire by the orange man right now. We usually apply in April and they provide a decision by October. In my case, I applied in april 2016, they dragged it and dragged it by asking for more and more documents, giving me loads of hope in the process to finally deny it more than a year later. I'm disappointed to say the least. It's been a 3 yr career break for me since I moved to the US with my husband. I wish I could go back home but can't really do that. Sigh!Aw, Madhu, I'm sorry to hear that. Can you appeal the denial? Or would you be able to do something like volunteer work without a permit? I don't know how these things work but I hope you can find a good resolution. Don't give up!
I'm a strong swimmer, maybe I can roll it and survive.
I saw a car yesterday with two canoes and thought of you and Sandy.Sandy and I have been out fishing and kayaking. I caught my first fish ever on the kayak. But that is why you haven't been hearing from us this weekend.
My hubby is a techno-phobe.But he's quite nice really.hahaha
I found out today that my doctor's office is going to try to get me on the patient assistance program for vsl
I am sorry. It is probioticsI think he is talking about VSL#3 probiotics. I have taken them myself and they really help restore normal gut function. They are pretty expensive, about 100 bucks a box.
i just have to pipe up. You know how i am. Anybody else awake?
I'm up. It's 7.30 am here lol. Sipping on coffee and making a bit of lunch. There is construction going on next door and my God, it's terribly noisy. Even with all the windows shut. I have to escape somewhere for the day
Lol You hear kids 4 floors up? There is a 1 yr old right above us and we can hear him crawling fast on the wooden floors, the dog running around with her paws full of nails, and the worst of all - the adult who thinks she is a giant and likes to stomp on our heads! My husband and I have decided -when we have kids, we are going to train them to walk upside down on the ceiling, so we can give them back! You're five hours behind the UK Madhu.Unfortunately noise is part of life now. We,as a couple are very quiet. No kids,no pets,(alas) no loud music, very few visitors.Washing machine and vacuum cleaner go on after 8am and before 6pm.But noise can sometimes be unbearable, especially on the streets at this time of year. And if that kid 4 doors up, starts kicking his ball against the wall again this evening, well I just might have to ram it where the sun don't shine. And I don't mean the back of the cupboard....
Me tooI hope you are doing OK too CYY.
