We have Dishnetwork along with Netflix, and we still have a hard time finding decent programming. We also insist on having a DVR (hate commercials, plus like to watch at our convenience), we use that almost exclusively. Unlike Trysha, we want a little sports package, but only so we can watch our beloved Utes (college) football (American football). We don't care about the rest. We do watch some fishing shows too (never thought I would say that a few years ago), as we have found some good info on techniques for fishing, but those are on "the outdoor channel" which is not considered a sports channel. We occasionally watch old programs like "Perry Mason" or "I Love Lucy" too. Doug really likes "NCIS."
I have as yet to hear an update on my mother today, but there is a chance she is getting a pacemaker as we speak, as a kidney problem cleared up after they placed a cath. There is also supposed to be counseling about palliative care as mentioned before.
I have my GI appointment today, tho my tummy is a lot better than it was, but not perfect. I have med followup with fam doc Thursday. Sigh, tired of doctors as I know all of you are.
I sound grumpy today, but actually not as grumpy as I sound. I love fall weather, we had our first little skiff of snow on the ground yesterday. I love the cool to cold crisp air and smell of leaves and earth in the air.
I'm more and more amazed at how awesome this group is, you are all so giving in spite of what you have going on. Hope all are as well as can be.
I think we need to have our traditional Christmas party this year again, I even found a "bah humbug" pillow for you Carol . I nominate we have it at Bufford's place, since that is closest to Trysha's and it is harder for her to travel right now. I just changed my mind, since this is a magical party and we can go wherever we want and do whatever we want (in our "dreams," lol) I'm going to invite you all to Utah where we will travel to lovely red rock country in central Utah around Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. I'll build a huge cabin that will accommodate us all. If we get too bored, we can even take a river rafting trip down the Colorado River (which is also the main river in The Grand Canyon, but not in the canyon yet.) Of course, no health problems are going to be there and all bodies healed for our party time, at the very least. Kirsty, we need a chef again. Can you pick up Trevor on the way? We need everyone to come!
Hugs to all. :Karl:

Sandy...I love the idea of visiting Utah.we have visited most states but ran out of time for Utah.Being in southern Ontario....I would need a flight or train or long distance bus to reach Bufford....nice thought though...
Sorry to hear of your health problems and looking forward to better times for you.
Hopefully your mother will feel a bit better with the pacemaker and other clinical attention.
It’s a stressful time for you all..
Christmas draws ever closer and already stores are so crowded and bustling.
I’m busy filling another two maybe three boxes due to excess items with the first two.
Will be taking them Wednesday to Physiotherapy from whence they are picked up and transported to their international headquarters in Alberta for sorting and further transport to deprived children in other countries.
Those California fires are the most fearsome I have ever seen....how terrifying to be surrounded by fire 🔥 and trying to escape it.
Time to relax now
Winning."..

No pacemaker yet for my mother because they don't want to do it unless she commits to the heart valve replacement. I don't think she is going to. They are going to discuss her odds of living/for how long tomorrow (without any surgery).
As for me, I get an upper Gi scope, but not until the middle of December. I guess that's what happens when you have a good GI, they are booked out solid for a bit. I don't feel mine is urgent tho, thankfully.
Those California fires are horrifying, aren't they? We have a neighbor who grew up there (in Paradise), the church she used to attend and her whole neighborhood and most of the entire town is completely gone now. She is collecting clothes and necessities for her old neighbors who now have nothing. It breaks the heart.
In other thoughts, hey, Trysha, and everyone, since this is a "magical" Christmas party, I can just transport everyone thru my instant transporter, whenever you're ready on Christmas eve day. All aches and pains will be instantly gone, so we'll have a grand ol' time.
Huggins to all. :rosette1::sun::Flower::ghug:

Sounds so good Sandy that it makes me want to start packing. I was going to book a one way ticket, but since you have a transporter I'll hold off, those bathrooms on the plane are a pain anyways.
I miss the outdoor channel I had with Dishnetwork. I remember it being an odd channel that I had to pay separately for that was not included in the subscription package.
The whiskyjacks are having at my left over spaghetti from last night. I made a little more than i could eat. My eyes were bigger than my stomach when I cooked up a batch of spaghetti sauce, it smelled so good.

Hey Sandy girl🙂. Cracking party idea...im in, you know iv been wanting to come to utah and see all the lovely places on your photos. Also to see you and Doug and spoil you both by taking over your household duties so you can have a well deserved rest. So get that transporter fired up gal, im ready when you are.
By the way anyone else with a transporter who would like the Mandy house duty fairy treatment please just holler. 🙂

Hope all goes well with appointments for those who have them soon.
Sandy prayers and loving thoughts regarding your mum. 💕

Biggest hugs n loves to all. 💝💕:ghug:

You guys are all so much fun! I want to get on the transporter, too! Utah isn't that far from Oregon- it should be a quick zip! Haven't posted much lately since I haven't been feeling great. Hoping the last Remicade infusion (Nov 6) will last until surgery Jan. 8.

Nutty....here’s hoping the Remicade will work it’s magic and last forever for you....did I hear you say it’s disappearing fairy dust......feel better soon
Sandy...hope things will soon improve for your mother and glad you are feeling a little better..
Is your transporter a modern version of Dr Who’s flying telephone box....always wanted to fly away in that..
Chris...I’m surprised the chickadees haven’t migrated to warmer climes...how lovely that they let you feed them
Bufford...what is a whisky jack....is it a bird or other kind of 🦒 🦔 🦓 animal......
Mandy...you are very welcome at my place.....would really 😊 love the company..
Id hire Molly Maid to do the chores....while we are busy exercising our jaws.....chit chatting the time away..
Carol...where are you today,,,,missed my dose of witticism.....maybe your nose is into a book sale...
Would you believe it’s snowing out there...just a sprinkle....enough for a warning of things to come
Cheers! Everybody...
Winning.....

Nutty hope you are feeling better soon and the remicade last till your op. Take it easy..💕

Trysha you make a good point, we would probably be to busy chatting for me to do housework duties😀. I so wish i had more money, i would love to pop over and visit you and others. So many lovely people here that my feet would barely touch the ground. Id be going from 1 airport to another for about 6 months 😀😀.
Keep well girl.💕

What do you call a 3 legged deer??
Eileen 😀😀

Love to all.💕💕

It would appear that many here are wining a round, I hope Remicade is the key to locking away the Crohn's Nuttyguts. If I can I will try to bring a whiskyjack over to Trysha on the transporter when its my turn. These birds are similar to the bluejay.

We have beautiful stellar jays and scrub jays here. They are both large birds and seem to get along with one another. The smaller birds stay clear when the jays are out in the yard. I googled the whiskey jack, and he is quite a handsome jay as well!

I too googled the whiskey jack and agree they are handsome birds. I think I will transport maids to everyone that wants one on my Dr. Who type telephone box transporter (including myself).
Spoke too soon about not feeling my stomach needs weren't urgent, problems today. Ugghhh. I'm hoping right now it isn't a bleeding ulcer...
The story with my mother changes every day, but suffice it to say the doctors decided she was well enough to be discharged today to a rehab facility to help build her strength back up. She still has kidney problems, and it was decided she is not a good candidate for either surgery, so who knows how long she will be around.
Hey Nutty, when I was a youngster (too many years ago) my family used to take a car trip to Oregon to visit a family friend every summer. I absolutely love Oregon! I really want to get Doug to the Oregon and Washington coast, it is so beautiful there! (We also both have relatives in Washington.)
Ninja and Bentley send their love to everyone, they are doing fine. (I'm glad Ninja wears a bell so if he gets out he would scare the birds away. We intend for him to be an indoor only cat, though.)
:Karl:

Okay, Sandy, hop in your Tardis and head to Oregon! I know when the pioneers came here with their covered wagons, that after their long journeys, they surely must have thought the Willamette Valley the most beautiful place on earth. I know I feel that way even in the rainy season (which is awfully dry so far this year). Back in those days, someone with Crohn's would have died a slow and painful death, so I keep reminding myself how lucky I am to live here, and have these drugs and alternatives at hand! It's all a matter of perspective...

It’s all a matter of opinion said the man with a wooden leg.......
We are so fortunate to have many spectacular views in our beautiful countries...Nutty..
Sandy...hope your problems will soon be evaluated and treated.. why not go to the ER where tests are on the fast speed track..don’t suffer in silence.
Would just love to see you over here Mandy....we could go to Niagara to see the Falls and the somewhat historical Waxworks Museum...have a cup of tea at the restaurant overlooking the Falls...breathtaking views.....etc..
Bufford...so the whiskey jack is a real live 🦅 🐦 bird...who’d have thought it...
Chris....I’d love to feed the chickadees...
Our snow did not come to stay...this time...snowflakes soon melted...not our normal weather.
Winning......

How interesting Chris...
In my youth I was very interested in amateur radio, which my brother was quite expert in using and would occasionally tolerate my looking over his shoulder.
Now I have my trusty pocket size Walkman radio...which I keep under my pillow and use
for restless nights.
It’s either classical music or a programme that follows UFOs.......
With your amateur radio you will be able to make contacts internationally...interesting occupation.
I didn’t know it required a license though but it makes sense come to think of it....

I remember the time when CB radio was very popular. We had a set we used before there were phones at the family cabin. On clear nights the signal would skip as they would say and we could listen in and engage in conversations with truckers thousands of miles away.

Trysha thats sounds wonderful. I would love that🙂🙂 . As i cant afford the flights maybe i could swim across the pond🦆🐠 to get there. Or if someone has a real transporter 🙂. Hugs💕

Sandy glad that bentley and ninja are doing well. Sorry you are not doing so well. Try and rest and push for appointments with docs if need be hun. Hugs 💕

Love n hugs to all :ghug:💕💕

I'm still lurking around. 4 more weeks to go and I can't wait. So much pain and discomfort. Lol. Hugs to all of you lovely folks [emoji177][emoji173]

Sorry to hear that Madhu......why are you feeling pain....does your doctor know about it..
should be able to help you.
Four weeks will go quickly....maybe things will happen before then...
Feel better soon..
Hugs

Thanks Trysha. The little one is all balled up very low in my pelvis, so I have so much pelvic pain. And apparently it's good because it makes space for the baby to come out. Lol. I had an appointment today and this is what my Dr told me.

Hi Madhu..that sounds very uncomfortable hun. Sorry you are in pain right now💕 hopefully it will settle. Oh my only 4 weeks to go that seems to have gone quickly, tho it might not seem it to you as the keeper of precious cargo. Hope you are ok otherwise hun. 💕💕

Off to the dentist, hopefully for the last time until my 6mnth appt. Not sure if it's going to be a root canal or not.....Madhu,sending hugs sweetheart. You're going to be a wonderful mom.

Chris have you got your "handle" sorted ? Can you tell I've seen Smokey and The Bandit to many times.hahaha

Smokey and The Bandit, one of my favorites. :) No, I haven't chosen a handle yet, I need to see what is available. This is best done right prior to the test so you likely get your first or second pick. It's exciting for me to be expanding on my knowledge of electronics. I hope you all are doing well.

Carol I hope the appointment goes well, I hate the drill, fill and then bill from the dentist. They say is doesn't hurt, but I say it hurts twice, in my mouth and my wallet. Madhu, its been a long progression, hang in there for you are almost there.

Had to cancel AGAIN !!! this is the 3rd time....Nothing to do with being a scaredy pants, I've been a regular all my life.I feel I really must ring my IBD nurse for an apt. I've not been at my best for too long now.I'll ring on Monday and make a list of symptoms over the weekend...…..please don't nag me,I know I need a kick in the rear.

Sorry you had to cancel Carol. 💜
When I made my last post about tummy troubles, I was having a particularly bad day. Most days aren't as bad as that, just an underlying tummy trouble that won't go away, but I think I'm on the right course for diagnosis and treatment (probably just a little gastritis.)
Madhu, I'm so excited for you and your little one, just sorry it takes a lot of pain and effort to get them here and to raise them). But as said above, you will be a great mother.
I'm off to the store to pick up toilet tissue and other necessities. We've gone thru so much lately, lol.
But on the other hand, the good side of life, our former foster daughter recently called and wants to come for a visit, so she is coming today. She hardly ever calls or just wants to be with us, (unless a birthday, Christmas or present is involved, lol), so this is a surprise. Tomorrow we have our normally scheduled visit with Oto (former foster son), who has a strong attachment to us, calls us often asking for advice as to handle life's challenges as he sees them thru his intellectually handicapped eyes. Ashley is like a cat, wants us around when she wants us, and on her terms, Oto is like a dog so to speak, always excited to see us, almost jumping around with puppy like joy. I have to admit Ashley was not as easy for me to deal with, in fact she brought some real challenges that I never have quite come to terms with (more my problem than hers with her ability and background), but suffice it to say I love both cats and dogs.

Carol..sorry to hear of your final capitulation......too often we think we’ll get over it but
crohn’s is so relentless.Hope someone can make it go away for you...so that you can enjoy
your dental visits in peace......
Madhu and Sandy..hope you are feeling better.
Chris..looking forward to hearing of your First transmissions ....makes me feel like getting
an amateur radio setup too.

My Dad and brothers all had CB radios back in the 1970s and they all really enjoyed talking to folks all over the eastern US. My Dad's handle was "Piano Man" and one of my brothers was "SpiderLegs". Can't remember the younger brother's handle. Would love to hear of your CB adventures!

I can never make a short post, can I? :rof::runaway:

Sandy,I had a surprise E Mail from Cheryl yesterday. It was only one line but I was really happy to hear from her. When I checked,I had E Mailed her in 2017 almost to the day.I know she was on the forum via her work computer so I didn't push it when she didn't reply in case she was in trouble or had left the bank. The address was the same.I was really fond of her and she was good fun.
Enjoy your visitors....

I had a CB radio back in the day. It was handy for long car trips, to keep in touch with the other vehicle. My handle was Blue Jay. Breaker, breaker.
Amateur radio sounds like fun. My dad was a morse code radio operator in the army.

I remember some of the CB themed movies back then, I remember Gumball Rally being one of them and the rubber duck theme. Some good times in those simpler days.

I agree, Buff! We have a TV station here that plays old movies and old tv shows and we find ourselves preferring those over current programs most days. The cop shows were not nearly as gory back then! And the innocence of "Andy Griffith" and "Leave it to Beaver" episodes is still a delight to watch. Just this week they played "Convoy" starring Kris Kristofferson. Breaker Breaker 1-9!

Me three. In fact, when the CB talk started, I immediately thought of the movie "Convoy."
However, I beg to differ on the getting old aspect. I refuse to grow up. :rof:

Wow! What a blast from the past! I was really fond of her too. I hope she is doing well. In fact, there are a lot of "old timers" I miss, but she was (is) special.

Hi all my mum finaly came home last saturday. Still not right really but waiting on a spinal injection for her normaly bad leg. The hip she broke is doing well. Also has to keep her neck brace on for another 4 weeks and see how it is then..

Anyhow all this cb radio talk...my sons father used to have a set ..spent many a night wittering on on it. Was quite fun at times🙂
Love n hugs to all :ghug: 💕💕

I sure hope your mother improves greatly, Mandy. Only God himself knows what I would do if my mother were to be under the weather like your mum has been. Big (gentle) hugs to you both. XX

My best to all.

Thanks Chris. Im sleeping at hers tonight. My sister and I are worried about her falling again. On the sofa so will probably ache like a bitch in morning but its my mum so il suffer it gladly,so long as she stays safe.
Big hugs to you too my friend 💕💕

Well, after faffing about for too long I rang the IBD nurse yesterday and left a message. She rang me later and was her usual caring, friendly self. She had all my details in front of her but as I'd not been in touch for a little over three years and am "out of the system" I have to go to my GP and ask him to send a re-referal letter to the hospital.
Soonest Doc.appt is 5th Dec.so it will probably be January before I get a hospital appt.
Hubby says to go private for GP referral but I will still have to wait for the GI appt......It's my own stupid fault.I've ignored the little things and shrugged them off for far to long....the moral of this tale is....if you THINK you should see the doctor, then you do.So get on with it...

Does anyone, like me, think there's something not right about somebody paying 70million pounds for a David Hockney painting ? I mean folk can do what they like with their cash, but the picture's not that good.A 10yr old could do better......

Likewise Chris.. must have more money then sense 💕

Oh Carol my lovely thats abit of wait. Hope things move quick re the hospital appointment. Xx

Looking forward to me bed tonight my backs been killing me all day :(
Love to all
Keep on trucking 😀😀💕💕

As the saying goes there are many on the planet with more money than brain. I should go down stairs and get out the left over paint and give it a go for big bucks, perhaps my cat could do better than some of that art selling for ridiculous prices.

Go for it buff.. you might make millions as for the cat🐱 well probably billions 🙂

Iv got some lovely paint spattered overalls at work, look very jackson pollock maybe i should sell them for a few million 😃😃😃

Take care all big hugs 💕💕

Chris, I am glad that you decided to stay here
( instead of leaving because of the advertising.)
You are a great friend to all.
Wishing EVERYONE here a great Thanksgiving.
I may be back another day.
God Bless. And hugs. Lynda 🌻

Between 2003 and 2015 9,000 Americans lost fingers in snowblower accidents

Please blow with care folks....

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! I am thankful for all your posts, advice, and good humor! :mademyday:

Perhaps it will help cut down on the amount of texting while driving. We have a show called Canada's worst driver; and its amazing what people will do behind the wheel, and it won't stop there when they reach out for the snowblower.

Lynda, try using an add blocker. Fire fox works quite well with their add blocking app. The adds drive me nuts too, the marketers have become too pushy for their own good.
Glad to see you return, the door is always open here.

It is very tragic that people get injured by snowblowers and avoidable. It seems
Cold weather freezes brains..
Just be careful with snowblowers especially when they freeze up and jam.
It can be a desperate time keeping snow cleared from pathways and sidewalks and as soon as it’s done...the weather delivers more for good measure..
At these times I’m glad I sold the house ..then when spring arrives I’m sorry I don’t have my garden.
My apartment building has beautiful surrounding gardens and we can add to them and do some weeding if we miss our previous gardens.
There is also a huge swimming pool with a seating area and dressing room facilities.
And large lawn areas with benches to sit and enjoy the air...also a garden area for planting vegetables come spring..
Mandy...sorry you couldn’t come and enjoy a little piece of Canada...
Carol...hoping you are feeling a bit better..your appointment is soon..mine is after yours..
although I have a follow up with the plastic surgeon first for my broken finger...still not healed but getting there..
It’s a lovely sunny bitterly cold day today....-13C and dropping...seeing the sunshine makes me feel like going out but the cold blast at the front door makes people think twice.
I’m all togged up and insulated to get to Physiotherapy...what else would I do with time and money...
My left arm is now much worse than the fall damaged right arm....very difficult to dust and vacuum...and peruse the web..
Cheers! everyone!
Winning....

Hi All,
I use AdBlocker Plus. It's free to download and I never see an ad when viewing the Crohn's forum.

Trysha....don't worry about the housework, Mandy's dead keen for a free holiday.

I don't have any probs with ads on my Lap Top.Is it your I-phones that's causing it ?

Carol how very dare peddle my house duty wares and desparation for a holiday!!!
Very true though :rof:
Hope your appointment goes well hen. ♡x

Trysha.. hold your horses girl,i may yet appear on your doorstep. If i win on my tombola bingo free game,im on way to you and then to Sandys 🙂🙂. Hope your appointment goes well too. 💕x

Nice to see you lynda hope you are doing ok? X

Chris i knew you couldnt keep away...its coz you love us 🙂 we love you too mate 💕

Nutty hope your keeping well, its nice to see you popping in 💕

Love to every last one of you lovely people. Hugs 💕💕

Waiting with bated breath, Mandy...beds all made up and ready...weathers iffy....as it is this time of year....breath freezes into puffy white clouds..all good experience.
Warm as toast indoors..
I plan shopping where stores are close together...the shops are so hot it’s good to get out in the cold again.
Not too much snow yet...but when it starts it doesn’t know when to stop.
Feeling much better after Physiotherapy and acupuncture...energy has returned.
Bufford snowfalls will be better than mine being further north brings heftier snowfalls..
Glad I don’t have to shovel it any more.
Carol....good to see your jaunty self....
Chins up Everyone....spring will follow winter...I know it’s still Autumn...
Winning....

Trysha glad your treatments went well and you feel better for them.
The weathers irrelevent its the company that counts and im sure we would have a ball hun 💕

In 1952, the Great Smog Of London was so bad that blind people led sighted people home from the train stations.

A single human nose produces about a cupful of mucus a day......Don't forget your hankie,or hankies.....

For the Pope's visit in 2015 traffic police in Manila were issued with 2,000 nappies (diapers) so they never had to leave their posts. (each?)

Castration prevents male-pattern baldness....providing it is done before any hair is lost

So the question has to be,a full head of hair....or not ?

Living with chronic illness has given most of us a sense of humor. Its one of those coping skills where we let a little stress off in creative ways of humor, and sometimes it becomes toilet humor. I know that feeling of aging, I need more shampoo for all the growth on my face when compared to what is left on top of my head.

If we didnt have a sense of humour we would be done for!!
Its what keeps us going...

What do the reindeers sing to santa on his birthday ??

Freeze a jolly good fellow 😃😃

Anyone else having to sign in every single visit.?? This time I had to sign in twice!!
It’s a bit frustrating for those of us that hop around the site....
It was a balmy springlike day today....makes me nervous about a delayed snow deluge....
Christmas seems to be fast moving in this year and with the postal strike it hasn’t been
Encouraging buying and packing and posting to UK.
Somewhat depressed today.....too many symptoms...and less than optimal international news..
Brexit seems a bit worrying.....what kind of under the tables deals may be occurring......
I wouldn’t be a PM for all the tea in China.....nor royalty with life constantly under a microscope....would not be Queen for a hundred pounds....said Alice....at the Changing of the Guards...

You're the Queen of LOWS Trysha.Sorry you're feeling low, hope it soon passes....My darling hubby is getting on my wick. He's very caring, but if I tell him I'm not feeling well
he tries to tell me what I should do.Nobody who hasn't got crohns can come near to understanding how difficult it is to cope sometimes...Whinge over.

I can relate... for sure... people just don't get it. This type of illness is a challenge of tremendous proportions, and I'm very glad we have our own little crew here who do get it. :)

Im at work at moment. Im having a bad day n maybe heading home shortly. Feel real ropey.
Hope to find you all well 💕💕

Yes,get home Mandy and snuggle down....NO HOUSEWORK mind.I've been thinking about you and how busy you'll be at work just now...….but they wont give you a golden handshake for good attendance so put yourself first.

Carol im home now and my day off tomorrow so hopefully il be back at work thurs .
Have not got the energy for housework so dont worry :)

The first bus in Britain to be powered by human excrement ran from Bristol to Bath on the number 2 route......Crohnies could send a space rocket to the moon and back twice daily.

We need more laughter ...it’s healing in itself...remember the laughing man on the ceiling in that Julie Andrews...Dick vanDyke 🎥 movie....and the laughter
carries them all up to the ceiling to join him...hoping to graduate to this tomorrow....
Sorry you are under the weather Mandy...you should not have to work with this miserable
condition...hope you will soon feel a bit better.
Good news today from the plastic 👩⚕️ surgeon...who pronounced my finger is healing and she will not be doing surgery...hooray for that..so I’m signed off in the care of my physiotherapist...who does more for me than the army of doctors.
Still can’t puzzle out why acupuncture is so effective.
Snow in our area this morning...now melted...jolly good thing..
Carol...where do you get these statistics? Interesting material you seem to dig up...
Winning....

Glad to hear surgery is avoided Trysha🙂. I so wish i didnt have to work. Il be ok just some much needed rest will help. Its been so full on the last few months with work n mum . We have now installed a nanny cam to keep an eye on mum remotely via an app on our phones. So that takes some pressure off we dont have t be with her most of the time now.

Hope all are well love n hugs 💕💕

I had my visit to the ER after cutting my arm good with a knife in my shop. The ER is a horrible place despite the great staff working there. I had to wait 8 hours before my cut was finally stitched up.

The place is full, patients are in cots in the hallway and utility rooms serve as patient rooms. The problem would be alleviated if they took all the drunks and addicts down to the drunk tank to do their drying out to free up beds for real emergencies.
I appreciated the efforts made by the staff who are swamped with work. The ambitious young burly doctor with the patchy beard did a great job stitching me up.

I probably should not have been working, one distraction is all it takes to slip up.

Oh blimey Buff old chum. Glad it wasnt more serious. Please be careful mate. Oh hospitals are so strecthed and under staffed it a bloody joke. Agree the the addicts n drunks tho. They shud have separate place to be.
Hope your arm is not to painful and heals well.💕

That’s a terrible experience Bufford and inexcusable that our hospitals have deteriorated so badly....so sorry it happened to you and hope you are making a good recovery ...
Inefficiencies
Not only due to reduced funding from all government levels but also poor management and high paid executive staff...I could go on....
It’s good you didn’t bleed to death in a dark corner.....by the way has your hemoglobin been scheduled for a check....depending on your blood loss...
Mandy ...so sorry that you are under the weather...kindred spirits on here...seems to be the time of year..hope you will be feeling better soon.
My arms are improving with physio and acupuncture plus gruesome exercises imposed
by the physio at each visit..thank you for asking..
Thank you Chris for the good wishes...surgery was being considered but the physio works miracles and the hand and arm are both improved....so the plasticsurgeon said she was pleased with progress and would not do surgery unless something untoward necessitates it.
I will not agree to surgery anyway....I can manage ok.
Carol...missed your daily wit today....hope you are feeling better...not long before your GI
visit.
Winning...

Glad you're ok now, bufford. My only actual experience at the ER was when I miscarried my first baby. I really thought I was going to die when the ambulance took me in, but I was one of the patients in the hallway cots and it wasn't even a busy day. Every test took 2 hours and by the time I begged them to send me home, my trauma was entirely over on my own. I pray I never have to go to the ER again in my life.

That is so sad for you Madhu
How are you now...looking forward to your new baby to put in an appearance...
Not long now
Take care

Thanks Trysha. I'm ok, hanging in there. 2 more weeks to go. Can't wait to hold her [emoji4] hugs to you [emoji173]
