No, not just that, but Australia in general. I don't know too many people from, "Down Under."

Ahahaha, I know Andi, we have a pretty wicked sense of humour down this way.

I think we do up here too. One of the older women at my school thought I kind of resembled Christine O'Donnell. I'm not sure if you keep up with U.S. politics. I didn't find that to be a compliment at all. I think she knew that because she said, "I'm sure you're not as crazy her though."

Ahahahaha. I don't have any idea who you are talking about but I would like to have seen the look on your face!

Love the pic of the croc & very small boat. Not gonna scare me off though...I grew up in New Jersey! Home of the board walk, white beaches....pollution, the mob, crooked politicians.....

There is a purpose for everything. I'm just glad to finally be off work! What a day!

Well, I have a hard time believing there is a purpose for gnats. Or how about cockroaches? Nasty buggers!

My point is that, though there may be purpose in some things, there is also a huge random element.

You guys still talking about critters??:yfaint:...btw I like spiders and small snakes ...and I win!

Ouch, sorry, didnt mean to be mean. I am powerful too, after using the commode lol.

Actually no, I am a winner for the whole month!!! Even though it says start date is Oct for me, this is my 3rd avatar...one wasnt my fault so this month marks 3 years I have been on this forum!!!!!!!!!! Yay me!

Y'all can win for a bit...gotta go to work. Have fun children!, no boys, no booze and keep the music down!

Must have replied to this post at some point because you guys keep popping up on my emails. Sooooo. I am the last one. And. That. Is. That!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being of a non competitve nature I will leave you all to it. HOWEVER - so far it's me again lol!!

Only 4c!!! Ha, I wish, that is spring weather. It has been so bitter here, -33c the other morning, and warmer today at -7c but at night, thank goodness for the airtight stove!

I am doing pretty good Dallies, hope you and your family are well too!xxx

...and then I sneak into the lead!

(laughing at Pen, I was trying to get a rise out of you, friend... mission accomplished!)
Besides...
You wanna keep a full-name handy for when you have to give'em heck!
I was Walter as a little boy, folks called me Wally for many years, and now just Walt.
:p

England

Donnie Darko Land refers to the film Donnie Darko and his diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia, which is one of the things I've 'got'.

Hey all I know for sure is -40c and -40F are the same, but from -33c is approx -24F I am terrible at math too :rof:

Your 75F is our 22c. which is really spring weather. Trust me it gets hot here, sometimes up to 38c which is 100F , I have central air, no more sweating for me :lol2: I like it cooler and I am winning now!

Trev, is it humid there too like it is here in late summer?
Kind of a silly question, I guess it is humid along the coast, huh?

hi Michelle, it gets humid at night, which is a pain when you want to sleep.
no where as bad as Australia, i couldnt stand it over there in the summer.

It's been 5 hours! Surely, everyone has quit and I am the ultimate winner!! Hahahahaha!!

Oh, no you don't! I was catching up on some work so hadn't checked in for a bit, but now I have finished all that junk so therefore....I am the winner!

I declare Michelle the winner, which makes me the winner again!!

Canada seems to be colder than most parts of Alaska. It has warmed up her to a balmy 30 degrees.

Northern Canada is the worst. Where my hubby works it can be -50c same -50F and yes that is brutal! But right now it is 25F, warmer and now snowing.

Anchorage, Alaska is pretty moderate. We have cold snaps but our weather can be typical of many coastal towns.

Pretty soon the time changes I think March 13th , longer daylight, yay! Do you cant the clocks in March or later?

Here in AK we change the clocks in April. I think it silly, we are already getting more light.

OK, it's bedtime in Oz!! I should be able to sneak in for the victory!!

Oh yeah, still got Matt's flush and dressing to do so I'll be up for a while yet.

I always forget about your half-the-week weekends!! No I don't, I'm endlessly green about that!!

Oi, I have just worked one of my days off so that's 51 hour week for me!!!! I deserve to win!!!!
