Hell no Trev! The yanks are that far behind you lot almost lap 'em!

Hey! I'm I may be younger than you, but I'm not a kid! Arhg!

OK Michelle just cause you are a new forum monitor, you can drive for a second... times up!:kello: my turn.:ytongue:

It's mice and rats that I have a big problem with. I will scream, stand on tables, cry. Rats especially!

huh ? I have no idea what the rats and cats posts mean but I guess thats what happens when you go to the last page and get in the last post!

We were discussing what grossed us out. It was a combination of creeping vermin, spiders, and insects. I can't stand mice and rats, and have always been a cat owner. My cat has learned to deal with the dogs. Poor kitty!

Oh lol....About 5 years ago you probably would not have stepped into my apartment! I brought home my lab rat after the semester ended. They told us that they would either be put to sleep or placed in the non learning experiments (torture in my mind). After working with her for 4 months I did not have the heart to hear that. I took her home and told my dog he had a new pet lol. I gave her a good life. Rats are not all bad but it is not like I would consider going out to get one. She came into my life. A black and white good rat named Hailey!!

You are right Jen, I would have been absolutely terrified. My father thought my fear was over the top and when we were out one day at the mall (I was much younger) he took me into the pet shop to look at rats. I was horrible. The attendant came out and dad asked to look at it. She brought that thing close to me and I started crying. I just ran out. Nothing bad happened between a rat and me, but they have always scared me. I had nightmares that night.

:(

Aww sorry you have such a fear. I do not fear animals or insects. I am not fond of some (like I would not have every species in my home lol) but nothing to the extent where I would not go near something.

It's getting a little better. I find it funny because that is my Chinese Zodiac sign. I was born in the year of the Rat.

That would definitely be my son. There really are monkeys in Alaska.

Some people think the zodiac signs are a bunch of bunk. I happen to fit mine.

ehh I do not go by everything....one girl at work once asked what I was....I told her gemini...she actually said uuuhhhh....you are two faced then...I lol because I thought not at all !!!

I wouldn't say two faced, I'd say can see two sides of things. One of my best friends is a Gemini.

Some people just aren't good with words. I have one living in my house. He's asleep at the moment.

Well, I am now awake. Let the games begin. Saturday chores to start soon so I won't hold onto the lead very long!

I am awake also !!!! Lol just looking at my last post time and know that I fell asleep shortly after...just woke up! Long sleep wow I was tired! More iron coming for me tuesday!

I am awake and have been for a couple of hours, still cramping a bit but trying to shopping later on!!!!!!!!! Shopping!!!! Sorry, I need a life and get out of the house! So I win now.

Oooo shopping.Have fun Pen!!
...My shopping today will consist of an oil change for my car...yey :p lol

Hey don't knock it my husband is a heavy equipment mechanic and truck and coach... he says if you never do anything to your car an oil change is the cheapest and best thing you can do for your car. If it is black, change it. I know oil prices are gonna sky rocket.

Okay, plants in ground, check. Mom hair cut, check. Laundry going, check. Grocery store, check. More on the list but it can wait till I finish checking my e-mail! Hey, I'm winning ;)

I thought everything was bigger in Texas!! Of course, Alaska is the largest state in the union!!

Thanks Pen, I was just showing off speaking German and of course i love to win tee hee xx

Seems most of us have learned to deal with both the s*its and giggles.

Eeewww! You can keep the creepy crawlies! I'd rather have bigger salmon and halibut.

ENJOY!!!

I used to have a small snake as a kid......its original name was Jake....until I woke up as an 9 year old girl to see all these little squiggly things in his (well her tank)..I ran into my parents bedroom and said loud Jake had babies ...Jake had babies while waking them up! Her name was then Janet!

Silly story sorry but it reminded me of her.

You are terrible, Dusty! Ah, somebody with a sense of humor. I just won't look too close.

hey dusty you forgot about the cane toad pics.
and the frilly lizards,
the list goes on

Yay! My kids are asleep. They sure kept me busy today. Down time at last!

Okay, I just saw the spider & snake pics. I watched a show called the worlds 10 most deadly creatures; 8 of them were in Australia.

:bigwave: I'd like to say Hi to Andi and Michelle and Ian and all the other new peeps here
