Crohns is symbolized by a purple ribbon. However, i actually found the unique symbol made by a resident in GI specialty. Its so awesome. I've never seen one

This is what Robert said, how to post a pic.

yummy, but leave out the blueberries for me.I like them but quite fancy bananas and walnuts. My Les also likes cake, might get cracking tomorrow.

I had blueberries in the freezer and only 2 bananas and it calls for 3. So, I figured I'd give it a try. Hope it tastes good. It sure smells good.:sign0085:

It is actually quite simple to get on the A team - if you meet any one of the three 'rules' below:

You have to be a man
You have to be sensible
If you cannot meet the above two then agreeing with me will get you in

Yes sir. I agree I'm sensible. I can't meet the first one though.

Sandy,
I am here for a little bit! Wanted to say hello and I sent you a PM. Not PMS!!!!:lol2: Just trying to bring a smile to your face. Everyone left when I was on too. Kirsty's hubs is home till Wed. , so they are probably having a good ol time right about now:lol2: Couldn't resist! Angel stepped in this morning for a few but didn't stay real long. She got a crohn's tattoo. Can't wait to see it!:panda: No hearts on emoticons for two days now!!!:yfrown:

I tried a piece and it is good, can't taste the blueberries though. Looks bluish green! Like blueberry muffins.

As long as it wasn't pumpkin bread. Yuck! Banana bread (especially with walnuts), yummy.

Did you ever have pumpkin bread loaded with chocolate chips??? Now that IS good!!! My Mom makes the cookies like that and she makes a maple icing for them. Talk about sweet!

It's 9 am Saturday morning now - just about to do some housework before hubs makes us a cooked brunch as he always does.:ylol:

Still takin one day at a time, but thankful for the time i have to spend with this family n my hubby & girls'.

I'm good, I'm just popping in and out today and I'll be on when I need to rest for a bit. But I am doing washing, tidying and then later some baking as we are going out tonight to watch the rubgy.

Took Wolf outside for a bit of fresh air (cat with sprained leg) he tried to run away and I got him and he growled like a big dog! So lives up to him name. Anyway he is back inside, Hubs is studying and I am working around him.

Well ty GJ. how's the weather? LOL

The tat is really nice. What I found funny is right above that picture it says "My girls!" Couldn't help but laugh. Your daughters are beautiful too. Robert will be bugging the heck out of you now!!!:ytongue:

THat sounds fab - whats the receipe?

I'll get it for you and send it OK? But I think this is correct.Cream 1and half sticks of butter with 1 and half cup sugar and 2 and a half tsp. of baking powder /and 1 tsp of baking soda./then add:3 eggs,3 soft bananas, 1 tsp salt. Continue beating till smooth. Slowly add 3 cups of flour add 6 Tbsp. of hot water then as needed. Then add 1 cup of smashed up walnuts and a bag of frozen blue berries and fold in.Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 min. in 2 bread pans. Or till toothpick comes out clean.
Just let me check for sure before you write it all down. The only thing I'm not sure of is the amounts of B.soda and powder.

Ok really? How in the world could that happen that way? I'll try to fiddle some more n move something??? - hugs-

Oh it was funny. Leave it go!!! It was for your daughter's picture. But it just struck me funny because of what it said. I call mine "the girls". We all have funny names like that.
Where is Sandy bee today? Have you heard from her at all? I know she was down yesterday.

Have been, little concerned myself- she might b napping. Which I'm using toothpicks to keep eyes open right now :(

Lets take a nap, i am tired too from eating dinner. I made turkey burgers and salad. It was pretty good! I never had turkey burgers before.

Let's do & make a date for hour or so. Got about 20 minutes in last night is all. Think my psyche is getting best of me as well as everything else :( Love turkey burgers!! Yum

2 pages back Kristy

Hi Trev, Angel, anybody else on. I'm going to have to catch up later what I missed, and just win for now.

Angel and I are in the same time zone, I'm sure. She lives north of me, but nor far east or west.

I'm glad you're still alive. Did you have a good day? Our little fam just went to the movies and $ "here Comes the Boom," the title sounds stupid, but I enjoyed it.

That's supposed to say "saw 'Here Comes the Boom.' Doug and I are now listening to classical music. I grew up with classical music and have a great appreciation for it. Right now, "Fur Elise" is on. I used to play that on the piano.

I know this quote is from way back, but I will still say yuck to the bread! I've had pumpkin bread with chocolate chips, also, and still say yuck! I would not like it in a boat, I would not like it with a goat. I would not like it on a train, I would not like it in a plane. I would not like it here or there, I would not like it anywhere.
