We are getting 2-4 inches of snow tonight!
I got my Christmas stuff up outside today so it would look pretty with the snow!!!:)



They changed it again, now maybe an inch! Oh well it will be coming soon enough and i'll be complaining!!! Just wanted the Christmas decor to get some snow...:(

Nothing much done, except getting paid to eat lunch with Lori. No snow, expect it to be in the mid 50 Wednesday.

(Oh drat, Ashley just got home.)

I am going back to sleep and ignoring my tummy (after I make a doctor's appointment.) Yay, sleep! (what a waste of a good day too.)

I guess noone is around to complain too. I was fine till late day and boom, the tum starts then the D! Had almost a week of good days!!!:ylol2:
 
Got a double dose of fentanyl and propofol during my score, and I still was coherent through the entire procedure! I'm a winner.....but damn it hurt :lol:
 
Sorry you had to go thru that!:( Why don't they give you twilight to knock you out for it? They did me. Hope you feel much better now!!!
 
Teresa, i truly love you and feel a connection with you ( among others) here. I value you guys letting me vent when i can't to y hubby b/c i no he can't handle what i go thru to support him n my kids. I'm really not a complainer, n if you ever met me, i would never say a word is wrong with me i put on a great game face. Besides my hubby, kids, doc n this forum, not a soul knows I'm sick. Would never let on, n I'll work till the day i die or become hospitalized for it again. I'm not much on docs n only go when I'm dying literally. All my surgeries have been emergency, as was this last hospitalization when i was almost dead they said. Thank you for all you do for me, n all of us o here. Muah- hugs- n luvz

Christmas lights up, white and purple with glittery bows and ornaments. Looks great with the dusting of snow we got. WIN! Oh and grilled chicken salad sounds deelish!

Omg my first few months of crohns and prednisone I was a caveman with steaks and burgers. I grossed my family out and used to daydream in the meat department of the grocery syore while drooling lol.

Everyonecreally liked it, the pies were a big hit (chocolate town pie and apple) I wasn't able to eat though! It was a bummer. Have leftovers for a week tho!!! So maybe I will get to eat some! Sorry about the pain! I wish I could eat like you!!!!

What is chocolate town pie missy? And what ate you doing to sustain yourself? I've been gaining weight these past weeks and I liked it at first but now my gut is bloated. Don't know if its from food or cuz I am off pred and back to swelling.
 
Chocolate town pie, is kinna like...chocolate chip cookie dough, in a pie crust! Lol. Its pretty rich. Very chocolately. To sustain myself...um, I get weekly iv fluids with a banana bag. When it really bad, like it is now, that's all I can do. I can't swallow anything, the ulcers in my esophagus r bad, pukin up blood and I can see ulcers in the back of my throat. My stomachs been bad too...increadible amounts of pain. But nuff complaining. When its a bit better I get the fluids and I drink boost plus.

I just got offered a job for 6 months :dance: My first time back at paid work since April this year when I got too sick to work. Fingers crossed I can cope - and then by then the website should be operating and I may be able to get paid from that - fingers crossed that my luck is changing

It was! First salad I had in awhile! I already didn't feel good, so too bad!!! I loved it. Got a new grill pan with my Christmas bonus money LOL! Had to try it out!:ylol2:

Tya love. It seems they've found a lot more than bargained for with my 5 CT's, 3 MRI's n 2 colonoscopies in 3 months. I dug into my medical records n found interesting facts they haven't told me. Arrrgh! Was little upset.

I have been thinking of getting my med records from a couple of places myself. I'm sorry it has told you things that your doctor's/medical professionals didn't. That really :stinks: doesn't it?

Even tho i can't eat much, if at all, i have actually gained 6 pounds over 8 weeks.....woohoo. broke 100! I'm so excited.
 
what is new with everyone? anything exciting besides weight gain? fever down yet Angel? work okay GJ?

Nothing is new here, but that is a good thing! Mike just told me we can't get the new car till next week because he has to junk his first and get the plate off and transfer insurance first and he can't do all that till at least this Sat. Bummer!
 
Yes. Work is great! I had almost a whole week off last week for the holiday. That was super nice! :) So it is back to the grind this week, which is good becasue I was starting to get bored. My church sent me to a youth workers conference a week ago so I am hoping to use some of the things I learnd with my students. It was an awesome convention and it was a great time to network, worship, and dream about the future of the ministry. And only at a youth workers convention it is ok to throw wads of panty hose at each other and call it a seminar on cool youth group games! ;)
 
Down to 99.8 from 101. Not too bad since my norm is 96.5. So I'm getting back to normal :) :dance::dance::dance::tongue:

maybe not, it is party time! I'm wearing the same clothes I went to work in, but slept in and crumpled because I took a five hour nap after work and climbed in my bed without changing. Jeans that are too short and a black short sleeve guaze top because I'm always hot. (Doug just about tipped over in his chair.)
 
(almost tipped over because he literally leaned his recliner too far back, not anything I said, he doesn't know, yet ...)

Actually although I am clearly going to be the winner I am working on some 'Last One Wins Awards 2012' - there is no prize - just the honour of being in the runners-up list. So if you want a favourable award now would be a good time to start being nice to me!

I was wearing a black tee and red and black and white plaid PJ bottoms and my burgundy slippers. Black long sweater coz it's freezing in here!:dance:
 
Black skirt, black boots, black sweater with lots of little colorful jewel type things on the front. Was cold here this morning.....
