Well, snow stopped. Still only 3° out though. And windy as ever. I biffed it pretty good! Ya know, I used to be pretty steady on my feet...not with all these meds tho. Mama T come back yet? No i don't much but been really trying to lay n toss n turn as to not disturb hubby. :) :wink: he gets crabby with his insomnia too, mine just lasts longer n he gets cranky... ugh

I was qouting Jack Black silly lol. My son has informed me that its my bed time so I better go . . . . . . . . . my last attempt at a win tonight! lol
 
aww! I am good. Had a busy, but fun day. We strated to put up the Chrsitmas lights today, but only to discover that whole strand was bad after we put them on the roof. oops. So I think we may try to finish tomorrow. Also watched Baylor football and basketball today, so over all a good day.

How about you?
 
I've been very lazy today. I slept in very late, then took another nap, and just played on the forum. That is crummy about the lights. I've only bought one Christmas present, and no decorations up yet.
 
Football yes! It came down to the wire in overtime. So exciting!! We watched that on tv. The basketball game, we lost, but we had free tickets, it was still fun though.

Yea! you should get a prize for being the 3,004 post!
 
I love football, especially a good close game myself. And who can pass up free tickets? there is nothing like a live game.
 
I agree! There is something about being at the game that makes it way more exciting! I wanted to go to the football game, but it was in Dallas at Cowboys Stadium and the tickets were really expensive. Not as expensive as seeing the Cowboys but still expensive.
 
I'm sure they are there. I hope I don't offend anyone here, but I don't like the Cowboys. We have had season tickets to the University of Utah football games for years. (The Utes.) I love it!

For Christmas, I buy the Hubby home game tickets to Vikings games. And I think it was 3 years ago now, it was a playoff game, Cowboys @ Vikes. We CREEEAMED you guys!!!! :dance: I think it was 34-3 in the end. We were still at the Metrodome then, not our new stadium, it's said thats one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL. I have to say, it was the coolest game I have brought him to so far!!! We were sitting by some Cowboy fans...and um...I am not above trash talking! lol! They left in the fourth, not until after the took off their Cowboys gear and shoved it in bags!!! :ylol2: LOL! It was a rough game for you guys.

I actually learned to like football by going to the home games. The energy is electric. Soooo much more exciting than seeing it on tv. Even if it is being palyed off of our 55in!!! lol. I certainly see the game better at home staring at my way too big tv, but it doesnt compare at all does it??!!!

Hi JBug (and everyone). I just had to reset my phone. so far so good. That must mean I'm winning!:dance: I also had to go take my meds which includes my "wake up pill", (modafinil), but at the same time I take a seizure med (vimpat and clonazepam which is also used for generalized anxiety disorder) which put me back to sleep), so we will see which wins today. usually I sleep.:boring:, I know.
Hey, can you get lower left quadrant pain, like cramps, from IBS? They are getting worse, but I don't want to go to the doc again.:voodoo:

I think you can get pain everywhere from IBS, I mean, all throughout the stomach. But how bad is the pain. I believe when I was having my gallstones, thats where it hurt. You know well enough without me sayin it...if it hurts too bad, something just isnt right, and you shouldnt mess around. I hate the doc, you know how much I avoid going in...but that usually lands me in trouble...
 
Yes bee, that is the main section of starting of the small intestine. It can be overwhelming horrific gut wrenching pain. That's what I'm dealing with too n my doc wants to do another colonoscopy to check out the damage. He afraid my TI is stricturing. Ouchie
 
already had my gallbladder out, female parts out, not feverish, so not appendicitis. prob just IBS.

Ouchie is right. I'm going to have to go back to sleep. tummy and head hurt on same side. getting very sleepy. what a waste of a pill --- wake up pill that used to be called provigil, now take modafinal(sp?) brand, that co-pay used to be $450 per month. another ouchie. (Not nearly so bad since other manufacturer allowed to sell their brand in US.
Oh, I win.
 
Rules one two and three .. sheesh, I thought this thread was supposed to be fun lol. How about making up a rule 4 that says no rules? :ysmile:

D, well now, those are only Boberts rules for the 'A team.' Not being a part of the A Team is much more fun. I was told right away I had set the record for being barred from the A Team faster than anyone else! lol! But Bobert is just a teddy bear anyway!!!

Morning all - just got my cuppa and played catch up. Another hot day here. Now I have to go and figure out what 3'F is in Celcius - I am guessing very cold.

Wolf has decided that Christmas has come early - and keeps bringing us birds! Alive of course and then we need to catch them and set them free. If it wasnt that yesterday it was the geckos. Man we had a busy day - and then a dog on the loose chased Wolf through our back yard. It was like the keystone cops here yesterday!

Hi Jbug!!!! How r u? I am good, just taking a quick break during halftime. Steelers look like the pooper today so far. We lost our main QB then the 2nd string also got injured last week, so now 3rd string is not doing good at all!!! Sucks!!!:sign0085::yfrown:

You will catch me busy tomorrow. depending on time that is! I have thanksgiving at mom's house tomorrow. leave here around 6am. ick. But it will be very nice. I love my fam more than anything.
 
Ok - today has started in an interesting fashion :stinks:

So far Wolf has brought one dead bird to the door. I drunk my second cup of coffee and somehow from the time I made it to when I got to the bottom of my cup a blowfly decided to drown in my coffee and sink to the bottom. I got to the bottom of my coffee and felt something lumpy in my mouth. My tongue swirled around it and I managed to spit it in to the now empty cup - and there was the bloody fly!!! :stinks:

Aarrrgggthhh!!! Thank goodness I did not swallow. I hope I dont get sick from it - total yuckies!

It's my jab day today too - here's hoping the day starts to improve :ylol2:

I guess we didn't get the Steelers game out here. I looked at their schedule, which channels they were on, and we had other things on. I flipped through other channels, and no, nothing. so I stay in the recliner until Doug came home and kept talking to me until I grumbled something about being asleep. time to take second wake up pill. I'm too tired to go get it. back to sleep... zzzz

Oh don't get me wrong, i love the snow just not the wind. Spent most my life in this region, except the 10 years in Oklahoma. Don't care for Wyoming that much, way toooo much WIND (chills to the bone!), but soon will be back home in Montana. :) muah - hugs-
 
Just woke up, gonna shower and head back to cemetery for another 12 hours, last night about 3:30 am I was about 100 yds away from my car picking up vases that had fallen over on graves and I heard a honk. I look around and nothing. The cemetary is 200 acres surrounded by fields so I'm in middle of no where. I hear another honk and I still see no cars. I pull out my flashlight and start looking for reflectors, figured a car pulled in with lights off, nothing. 3 more honks later I realized it was my car! I think their playing with me now..lol
 
Have a chat to them before you start and tell them your ground rules. It's a bit freaky eh? My friends used to live next to a cemetry and they got all sorts of strange visitors in their house - of the ghosty kind.
