im ok, do you know whats happening with Angel?

No and didn't like that post at all! I know she is moving, but that's all I know. Maybe she is joking because of the date 12-12-12. Alot of people were joking it could be the end as well as the comet that is barely missing the earth tonight. Heard about that?

Only God knows the day and the hour, so just live your life and keep your soul in check. Angel said she is just leaving this thread for personal reasons, but will be on others. OK?

wouldnt it be great if you new the date, then you could have a big spend up and not worry about tomorrow.

Yes! I heard the economy is going to collapse, so told hubs to go buy a new car because all debt will be erased. That would be fun. But we bought another older car. Oh well, it runs!!!

Well, it is 1:20 am here and I have to get up at 8, so gotta go. Have a great nite and day and TTYL!!! LUVS!!!:rosette2:

I think I just missed you Teresa! Again! Have fun with your ladies while I suffer through my two hours of drinking that nasty stuff, then two hours being scanned. poor little ol' me. (actually, I look forward to the nap - he, he!)

but in the meantime, I will take my win while Doug sorts his meds. we call them our nightly, and morning snacks.

oh, the lives we all live! And I don't even have a IBD, thank God. I don't know how you IBDers manage to get thru day-to-day! God bless all of you!

Hi all of you, stopping in for a win,but got lots of threads to catch up on,so if you're VERY lucky I'll come back later and win again x

Hi and bye Carol! Hi Sanni! How are you? I've been doin ok. Got a new house and I have to be moved by the 31, joyful christmas huh?!!! lol! I ws also told yesterday I have to see a neurologist. blah.
How have you been feeling? Its been a while since i have been on, so it would take me a decade to read it all!!

Hi Jen,have you been on the crush thread? good for cheering you up.Don't envy you the moving, very stressful at the best of times.Make sure you take care of yourself and DELEGATE,DELEGATE.DELEGATE........and while you do that I'll take the win so you'll have one less thing to worry about

I don't envy you on the move either. I actually have a friend in the US who is doing that exact same thing right now. They want to be in their now home for christmas. I have been feeling good. How about you? Full recovery from the stone episode?

How are you lately Trysha? How's sis? Hope she is much better now!
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and get to be together!:ghug:That would be so nice for you!

Hi Teresa
Thank you for the kind words.
Tomorrow night I will be transatlantic hoping the UK weather is not too bad.
Also have to evade that norovirus its quite an epidemic over there.
I have two sisters needing my visit both are quite poorly and I can't get there fast enough.
Fortunately (?) my Remicade start date was delayed due to red tape but will start early January.
It has enabled me to travel but I have some troublesome symptoms which hopefully might resolve a bit with lessening the stress level and with getting there and being with the family.I really don't want to resort to the prednisone
which has been prescribed.
Hope everyone has a good Christmas and that you and Sandy will get a resolution of your current health problems.
It's a great life if we don't weaken!
Cheers! Hugs and Best wishes
Trysha

Got some iron tablets today, let the fun begin!

Tomorrow is the last day of uni before christmas, and then I.. find something to do for 3 weeks!

Uni is university/the american college. So I'm finally living away from home! Hoping to move abroad eventually, or to get a place in London, but that's pretty far off.

And it's not morning, it's 8pm! I'm not doing too bad, trying to decide whether to get a place on my own next year, or live with a friend. Don't really want to be cleaning up after him and he's unreliable, so trying to get rent off him would be a nightmare.

So Sandy girl, how was the scan? Not as long as you thought was it? Mine was short! it's the drinking that gets to you! Just like the prep for colonoscopy! YUCK~PUKE!!!

If you already know this, then don't move in with him or you will end up enemies!

great weather here, summer has arrived.

Winter has arrived here and it is cold. But no snow yet!

Trysha

I'm so glad you are able to get to see your sisters and family! And you are correct, life is great, according to our attitudes. I really admire you Trysha. You seem like such a grounded person. Have a happy journey. Merry Christmas.

Sorry Bee!! It's mine! You can call me back anytime tomorrow. As of now, the hubby wants me to go in. No way we would see a specialist for that here though!!!

I love you sweet Bee!!!!

Hello all!
Hope you're all having a good night! I am trying to. Daughter turned me down for Christmas dinner. She said they are making a turkey and staying home. It would've been all of our first Christmas as a family together for Christmas in ten yrs. Iguess I should be thankful I had Thanksgiving with them....

Hi Sandy
Thank you for those kind words hope you will be feeling better soon.
Hi Teresa I would have come over for your turkey dinner (I don't eat meat though)

Yeah it's raining like crazy here too. My trip home is going to take a little longer than 5-6 hours!

So far my day has been waking up at 5am to go gym, then going to do some work at 8am for something I thought I had to hand in at 9am, but turns out we don't have to. So I lost an hours sleep for no good reason :( How's everyone else doing?

Hey! Make sure you give Alfie a good long walk!!!

Price - I was imagining you were a First Year student (same as my son) but then you say you were up at 5am - so clearly you can't be!

Morning all, just having my cuppa as Kirsty would say. Speaking of her, she must be so busy with her new job. We miss ya Kirsty!!!! Hi Robbie, Price! and Carol and Alfie too of course!

DEE!!!! HI! Haven't talked to you in a couple days, how the heck are you???:)

I'm okay, had my remi infusion yesterday. Took a bit of a break from the thread, talking on some other ones. Really unsure as to what's what and what I'm allowed to discuss on here, so still feeling out the ropes so to speak I guess. Been popping on and off to stay caught up tho and make sure y'all are well.

Oh no, I'm not easily intimidated. I'm actually a b*@ch not to be messed with in reality. I just choose my battles. Needed some down time anyway. I'm hoping to finally get into a book that I've been wanting to read for 2 months. Any readers on here? Anyone going to see The Hobbit?

I used to read alot. I go thru phases, will read for awhile, then quit for awhile. But, once i start, it takes me aWHILE BEFORE i GET ENUF!!!
I would love to see The Hobbit. It is one of the few movies my husband actually wants to see. That and "Lincoln".

Lincoln not as much, but The Hobbit is a def for me. Last movie I saw there was a preview for a movie next summer called World War Z with Brad Pitt, looked really freakishly good. Go goolge!

OK I will! Lincoln is all about the President Lincoln and my hubs is a history buff, so he wants to see it so bad too. But Hobbit is #1.:)

Can you eat popcorn? I know alot of chronnies can't. I still do, smell drives me NUTS. Never tastes as good as it smells tho. Speaking of food, I've been craving southern friend shake 'n' bake chicken for weeks now so that's what's for dinner with garlic mashed potatoes, fresh baked brown molasses bread and beets. Yummy!

Sounds grand!!! I can eat popcorn unless I'm flaring. Not at the moment. I make chicken rolled in egg and milk wash then dip really well in italian seasoned bread crumbs and put on a cookie sheet sprayed with pam. Then pour half melted butter and half olive oil over it, not too much. Sprinkle garlic powder and seasoned salt over it and bake for 45 min. 350 degree oven or till internal temp reaches 165. YUMS!!!!

Tastes like fried...:)

Oh my god all that milk and butter would not be good for me. I do something similar but without the milk, olive oil, or butter. Definitely does not taste fried. :)

You don't use alot, just enuf to make the bread crumbs brown and it all comes off the chicken anyway by the time it's done. You just sit it on paper towwels and the grease is gone. Milk too, only a tiny bit, you don't even need it, just whip up the eggwith water if you want.:)

Easy way for potatoes is to leave the red skin on and cut into quarters and put in microwave casserole and add butter and onions and garlic powder and parsley ,salt and pepper.Cover and Microwave on high for 12 minutes turning half way in between and they taste just like the kind you make on the stove, but much quicker. My hubs loves these!!!

Dang, have been pretty busy lately and not able to visit many sites including this one. Hope everyone is doing well.

::shudder:: A cruise? A floating sardine can packed to the rafters with passengers, consuming food on buffets in massive quantities that is HOPEFULLY kept at the proper temperature to avoid food borne-pathogens, which, if contracted, will sweep through the passenger list like fire through a stack of very flammable things?

No. Thank. You.

Are you speaking from experience? I've been on 5 cruises in 3 years and have 3 more booked for 2013 - 2014 and LOVE it. Best way to travel, best food, friends, great way to see alot of places and you are treated like royalty. Depends on the cruise line too!

I'm claustrophobic and am an internationally registered misanthrope. A cruise is my personal idea of Hell on Earth. ;)

I much prefer to kick off to Disney with the family for a week or more, everything paid up front of course including our meals, and just strut around like a king waving my hotel key around, which pays for everything even charges souveineirs to my account. ;)
