I have been feeling terrible lately. Less gut symptoms and more fatigue and joint pain. After complaining to my GI he suggested I see a Hematologist for ongoing anemia and with my PCP for joint pain. He also suggested I am depressed. Which to some extent I maybe, but I don't think depression is the issue. My PCP found I was low on testosterone, and the GI's NP realized my Cortosol levels are low. Sorry to make this so long. Today my PCP found my CBC to be at 8. I follow up with Hematologist Tuesday, the GI Thursday, and the following Thursday with the Endocrinologist.

My PCP ran another battery of labs today trying to pin point why I'm exhasted which could be the low cbc. Anyway I havent noticed any blood in the stool. He thinks that if this battery of tests doesnt reveal something and the specialist don't either that I should go to the Mayo Clinic.

I'm not sure that's what I want but I do want to get better. Getting through the day is getting harder and harder. Plus it's stressing my marriage.

Thanks for letting me vent a bit.

Jeez, at 8 I'm surprised they didn't send you for a transfusion. That seems awfully low. With that level it's no wonder you are fatigued.
