Do your kids wear them? Devynn has a medic alert necklace. All her medical info can be accessed by the hosp, by punching in her number. It has her doctors names (ped and GI), the meds she is currently taking, her pumpkin anaphalaxis and her epi pen.
She lost hers about a week before Christmas. I was planning on ordering her a new one this week when I got paid, but she found it! I was so happy. Of course it was exactly where I told her to look and she swore she looked... hmmmm:ytongue:

C was talking about one of these the other day. He has a medic alert necklace due to being allergic to penicillin but has a friend with one like Devynn has. I'll have to look into it.

They are actually mandatory in her school if the children have food allergies, or any kind of serious illness. There is a program in Canada called "No child without" and they will supply a basic necklace or bracelette to any child between the ages 4-14!

Yes Gracie has a bracelet bc of her severe food allergies: tree nuts and egg and also penicillin. She's had it since she was 2 so it is pretty scratched and worn so we're gonna get a new one for her 5th bday. :) of course nothing about IBD on it bc we don't know for sure yet.

Momto2girls, Devynn has the stainless steele necklace and it still looks like the day she got it! I am amazed.
MLP, they really are great!
Niks, they are a great idea! Yes, she's in a better mood this morning ;) She was pretty grumpy all day yesterday.
